I asked for recommendations a few days ago, but they have led to more questions. I really want to place an order today!
1. What is the difference between a 501,801,& 808?
2. I am deciding btwn the inferno, riva, Joye eGo, and tornado ( I think). I would prefer something that isn't really long, but battery power is more important right now as I will mostly be using it at home. For the future, what is a decent size mod with a lasting battery that fits in a purse?
3. What extras do I need to order so I don't start vaping and then get left waiting on a shipment?
4. Which sites offer the best customer service and fast shipping?

I currently go through about a pack of ultra lights a day, but have had some very serious health issues and that needs to end! These issues make my brain a bit wonky, so I really need help!

I have posted 2 further ? Regarding carts vs. Attys and if anyone has coupon codes. Please reply to these also.

The numbers are just different size atomizers. They all vape different and some people prefer one over the other. I prefer the 801 atomizer which also comes in a version called a BE112. It is the largest of all the atomizers and hold more e-liquid. The 510 (not 501 as you typed) is the most widely found size.

The suggestion of the eGo or Riva 510 is a good starter PV for a new vaper and Liberty Flights is a good supplier. I would get some extra blank carts with it and even a box of 5 blank cartomizers (atomizer and cart built together). I would then get 4-5 5ml bottles of e-liquid of flavors you think you might like to fill the blank carts and the blank cartomizers. I would get the liquid in 18mg and 24mg nicotine strenght to start out with. Most need that level at first to make the transition. You can increase or decrease the nicotine strength over time based on your personal needs.

Good Luck

There is a lot different between them.
808 is a 2-piece cartomizer unit KR808D-1
801 I think is DSE801
510 is Joye 510 threading

Comparison of KR808D-1 and 510

If you want the most flexibility and long battery life with an Ego or Riva 510 for your first

If you think you only want to use prefilled cartomizers then consider CigEasy's Elegant Easy

2 piece ecig is battery + cartomizer
3 piece ecig is battery + attomizer + cart

If you get a 510-based PV then you need to use 510 attys+carts or 510 mega atty+ mega carts or 510 cartomizers

If you get a fat long-lasting battery model like Ego or Riva 510 etc. then you can also or LR (low resistance) 510 attys and cartos for a harder hit but I don't know which ones are good. (I have small short-lasting batteries). To use any other model's atty or LR atty and carts (or atty and drip tip) you would need an adapter and also need to find out if it's a good atty resistance for Ego.

All you need to start out is an Ego Kit fully equipped would be an Ego kit + enough spare parts so you have 2 attys, 2 batteries, charging cable and correct AC to USB adapter. More spare cartridges and ejuice. Even though the ejuice sold by many mainly-hardware sellers is just the Chinese 100% PG juice, you should order 20ml-30ml when you order your kit to hold you over until you order and try some more popular juices. Don't get too exotic with the 100% PG juices - their specialty is not fruit flavors. Some of their tobacco juices are OK. But PG can make some peoples' mouth and tongue sore by itself. More popular blends are things like 70pg/30vg or 80pg/20vg if you want more TH, or higher levels of VG if you want a smoother more vapory vape.

That is enough to start. To be safer, I recommend spares like a 3rd battery, a 3rd atty, maybe another charger (ac to USB and cable)

You could also get some blank 510 cartomizers to try cartomizers but you may need a 510 extender so the carto will reach high up above the cowl of the Ego etc. Madvapes sells a 510 extender.

And then order some juices elsewhere - some popular places are FreedomSmokeUSA and Backwoods Brew, and I enjoy Velvet Vapors too.

My favorite hardware vendors are LiteCigUSA.net, MyPVShop.com, Liberty-Flights.com and I buy some hardware from VaporJunction, Madvapes.com, FreedomSmokeUSA.com (and Vapor4Life.com just for one model I own) but I don't know about support. I did get questions answers in the past by MyPVShop and Vapor Junction.

And I recommend if you get an Ego or Ego-T, get a real Joye one because there are both good and bad clone parts around.
