So I've been looking around for a mod to buy for a while so that I can use my rba at lower resistance. Since I have a Vamo V3 I can not go below 1.2ohms.

I really like the look and durability of the Reo and decided that I will be ordering a Grand on Friday (pay day).

I was doing some research about how the whole bottom feed works. I finally discovered what "squonking" means after driving myself mad looking for a definition. Is there any technical post around the forum that may go a little in depth as to how it all works?

Welcome Sines and congratsulations. Look at the stickies in this section there is a wealth of info there. But basically so long as you have the correct batteries, charger, atties or Cartos, and some juice you should be all set. Once you get your Reo if you have any questions you can make a new thread or just pop into the lounge and post any questions help wont usually be too far off.

Edit: Make sure you batteries are AW IMR

I don't think it will work. You need a bottom feeder....one that has a hole in the bottom for the juice to get up in. There are several that will work on the REO. Here's a thread about which will work: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/377836-reo-compatible-rbas.html

The very best bottom feeder RBA I have used is the Reomizer 2 that is sold on the reosmods.com site. We all have several....and they're really nice. Really easy to set up, and perfect for the REOs.

When you start out squonking try the first couple of times without the cap on the RM2. Then you'll see how hard and how long to press to fully saturate the wick. Oversquonking is not fun, and can lead up to excessive use of Kleenex :D

The amount you squonk depends on the size and type of wick, and what kinds of juices you vape. But the 3 sec guideline is about right for most folks.

I found that spending some time doing it systematically meant that I could blind-squonk (squonking without looking) much faster.

And... Welcome to Reovil :D

Thanks for all the warm welcomes!

So I'm watching GrimGreen's review on the grand right now and its making more sense now. Yes, it does seem fairly simple.

So I have an AGA-T2 that I love. How would this work? I don't see anyway for the juice to reach into the tank to be absorbed by the wick...
.

I've used a few varieties of genesis-style RBAs. Aside from being a pain in the azz to set up correctly, they deliver a great vape.

I got my first REO earlier this week along with the RM2 (Reomizer2). The RM2 is basically a rebuildable dripping atomizer that's set up for bottom-feeding. The vapor, flavor and throat hit delivered from my REO/RM2 are as good or better than any genesis-style I've ever used. The build and rebuild takes a fraction of the time.

You've made a wise decision to order yourself a REO. Don't forget to post some pics when it arrives.
