LOL you would not believe me if I told you... but here goes...

First how to make the washers, I used 4 old cartos, and pulled out the center connector, on two of them I did this:

On the other two I did this:

Now I have 4 beveled washers, 2 short tubes and 2 longer tubes. Since I drilled the holes for the post 1/8", the longer post:

Fit snuggly into the 1/8" hole, I simply stacked two washerd bevel to bevel and then the spring on a tiny nail. I tinned the nail tip with solder and did the same thing to the top of the tube. I then heated both and soldered them together while applying pressure on the spring. I them pressed the assy into the 1/8" hole. This is for the neg leg.

For the Pos leg I did the same stack, pre-tinned the nail tip and short post.
And beveled the tip of the post:

Now believe it or not a bic pen tubing OD is exactly 1/8" :)
I cut a short piece so it stuck up 1/32 above the top of the aluminum, soldered the nail and short tube with a piece of 22ga red electrical wire. I then pushed that assembly into the bic tube and made sure it was short of the bottom so it did not short. And ran the electrical wire down the center tube to the atty connector.

All she needs now is the wick heated, and a coil put on her and some juice added and she is ready to go:

Hope this helps...

Dan. The reason behind the pen tube?

Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk

Since the aluminum body acts as the ground, it reduces the chance that you will cause a short from the pos pole to the body through the SS wick. I noticed before I added those one time my vapor was different, when I opened the top the coil ground wire had come loose from the post and it was heating the length of SS from the pos connection on the coil to the body where the SS was touching. Since then I have been adding in the insulation tubing so the SS cannot touch the aluminum body directly.

Reservoir is 1 ml. There are no leaks. Wick comes in a hole in a tank with dimensions of 1.5 in diameter.

Ok, if I understand those pictures correctly you have your liquid reservoir on top with the S/S mesh wick sticking into it. The small hole on the side of the casing allows air to be drawn into the coil chamber and then past the liquid chamber to the mouthpiece? Almost like a large 510 with a S/S wick sticking into the cart? Nice idea!

Gravity is such a good friend. Newton's 3rd I think?

Exactly

In the film, I showed you how to smoke for 3 minutes non-stop. During this time the wick was at all times wet :)

I believe that the tank over the, "Genisis" is a very good direction for future mods. We do not need to use tricks when vaping. Liquid flows easily to the heater. Wick is not dry - never. If we make a hole in the tank to the width of the wick will not leak. In my mod air hole diameter is 0.8 mm and I think this is sufficient, we feel a little drag.
