YEEHAW!!!!!
This thing ROCKS!
Check it out... 6ml bottle inverted over the coil. Got it done this morning, running 32ga nichrome at 1.9ohms according to the provari. This thing just puts out vapor like there is no tomorrow! Was pretty simple to make only three parts to turn.
Here she is:

Very nice again 'dan'. So this was made using his diagram? I have to go back a few pages and take another look. I try to keep these all bookmarked but this thread moves fast at times.

Yeah, since I was not going to attempt threads, I figure the the hey lets use orings! But yes it was based on the diagram.

Dan, real nice again, and leave it to you to say you'll do it this weekend and have it done Friday morning.... incidentally I'm afraid I won't have your mega top cap ready til tomorrow at the earliest...

Now thats a big cap!
Hey here are some more pics of it broken down. Is very fast to disassemble.

Here is the coil assembly:
*Note, the screw holders are the inserts from the back of a computer. The ones that accept the thumb screws from the VGA port comm port etc...

Well our old, and gone it seems, thread starter, JensB switched to and preferred that design.

Sorry for beeing away so long. We moved back to Germany and since this i´m very busy.
Yes you are right, i switches to Genisis LV and i´m happy with this. I have not done any other mod since i got these beasts and i finally can say :i´m at home with these and for me there is no need to switch back...

so this style doesn't leak badly? That is the only concern i would have.

The mesh must be tight in the hole, or as I found out with my first test run the wick I rolled was to small and it did transfer the liquid to the lower compartment. But until it gets to the air hole no it does not "leak" :)
On my second fatter wick, we shall see the results.
