no electronics......gotta be rough on the battery..
When I first time connected my previous version of Genesis to eGo battery, accumulator declared short circuit. I spent a lot of time to find a short, but without success. Then I remembered that eGo has the step-down voltage regulator, but without any capacitors on its board. It means that this power supply gives high frequency pulse voltage to a heater. If we connect Genesis with a mesh wick which has only one electrical connection inside (only wick itself, not coil), we get a short coil. I decided to check out my theory, connecting the same atomizer using a capacitor. It helped.Slimest, really nice job, but I'm puzzled about the capacitor you've added. Is it attached to the positive and negative leads, and how does it offer the circuitry some protection from it's location after the circuitry? It seems to me that if the coil is shorting, then the surge comes from the circuitry itself and not from the site of the short. Does it slow down this surge? Sorry, but sometimes I am just dense.
To the ear: what if raidy made something similar... I just imagine...you do seem to have a novel idea
