First prototype. I need to check that assumptions are correct.

I didn't mean to make it sound like you should want tu rush on it, I hope it did not seem like that. I was just saying that if you were happy with it and wanted to sell them I believe that there would be plenty of interest. Pretty much everything I've seen that had anything to do with a genesis type atty was very popular with lot's of people asking to purchase units if they became available.

I apologize if my previous post sounded pushy. That is definitely not how I meant it Sturm :)

Ok new concept.....
What do yall think about this one: This should help to minimize the seeping problem which I still have though it is now minimized?
This is still in idea phase...
This is the top and where the juice would be held, the mouth piece/cap would have an oring and this section would be air tight.
Revolver1.jpg
Built like a standard I type the tube running down the center would not be drill all the way through to the battery connector, it would stop short and allow a silicon tube to be attached to the bottom of the central tube "the juice feed"
Revolver2.jpg
The bottom would be sealed except for one hole to the lower section for the POS wire for the coil.
Revolver3.jpg
The whole system would be inserted into a poly tube with an one o-ring on the bottom in case of seepage from the atty, and air hole would be drilled into the poly tube at the height of the coil.
Revolver5.jpg
This is a concept pic where the coil would be located. The SS mesh wire would be rolled and be the diameter of the silicon tube "TIGHT" and the length of the silicon tube. This should slow the seepage problem down. since it is below the juice it will be constantly feed from above and when the neg pressure is to great it should pull air back into the main reservoir. Thus conserving juice and minimizing seepage greatly.

Well what do my fellow modders think?

That is a very innovative solution to the problem posed by essentially turning a genesis tube mod upside down. I like it!!

I wonder how hard it would be to attach a small pipe to that bottom hole with a 90 degree bend, either threaded or bonded, then a simple straight mesh roll could be used to get the same result.... Just an idea :)

G-TANK will be composed of three parts + tanks (including stainless steel), mouthpiece will be plastic or steel (it depends on the turner, maybe he can do)

The tank will be steel, but we can easily check how much liquid is left.

If you make these I want to be as close to the top of the list for 2 as I can get...

Dan that is some great ideas in your pictures. everything sounds good to me.

Thanks,
Here is what the mouth piece/cap would look like, it would seal the juice off but provide an air passage way to the drip tip.

Hope this helps complete the concept.

Hi Dan
The idea looks really advanced . Lets say Cool and futuristic also .
I like the idea of a top fill tank and a bottom feed atty.
I do think that it will be expensive to have it built in numbers because of the small parts and holes to be drilled and groves to be cut .
Although it is still a very nice looking and functional Genesis . I see that some considerations are being considered to make the Genesis more user friendly.
If I could add an improvement idea it would be .
Since it has been found that build up on the atty is caused by some 60 percent to be particulates in the air.
Can you add a small filter, in the air intake to reduce the build up. That would increase coil life, and cut down general cleaning of coil and mesh .I think this would greatly improve an all ready wonderful system .
Just my humble opinion
Dan

Scuba could you elaborate on the airflow part of your design? I see that the slots in the tank lend to the draw airflow but it is the top piece that i am confused by. Does the top cap o-ring fit inside of the tank? I wondered how airflow will get past the top piece o-ring.

I'm using 32ga in my setup with no issues. Are you feeding it 6v or something. Maybe the mesh is not oxidized enough or your pulses are too long.

Which grade of kanthal are you using, that makes a difference as to how you want to program the electronics too.

I want to get some nichrome wire so does anyone know what type Nichrome wire i need? madvapes sells nichrome 60 is that ok?

Well put, wow, the filter would be sweet if that could be done. 'As the Dan turns: These are the days of our Genisis' continues, good stuff!
