If only I could be one of the lucky ones to get a Zenisis. True works of art, Zen~ My little tubing and cork genisis is working pretty damn good with the smaller air hole.

Thanks for the compliment! The thing about the whole mesh/coil atty is that they can work SO WELL with found objects, and with the patience to learn how it's done, absolutely ANYBODY can create one of these things, and have a great home made atty.

One afternoon during lunch, I literally made a PV out of a battery, a piece of cardboard from a flat-rate box, a paper clip, a 10ml juice bottle and a mesh roll/coil and some tape.... and it vaped remarkably well!

I agree they are easy to make and once the kinks are worked out they vape beautifully. However, your zenisis is a much nicer way to do it :D Damn, I wish I had a lathe and some skill, lol.

I did. I didn't want to miss a reply. That is rude. Plus this is a really nice thread with a ton on info in it. I have more ideas than I have time and money it seems and I don't want to lose track.

I went to Ace today and picked up some copper tubing and end caps. But I didn't have a good plan for a mechanical switch, so I got what I knew I would need and will pick up the rest in the next day or two.

This is a pic of my current project I found a billet of SS that the store owner couldn't give me a for sure answer on what grade it was just that it is high grade. I drilled through the the screw part all the way. I hack sawed the thicker chunk and took 1 third off. I will be using some 1" acrylic tube and haven't decided what I will use for the cap.

THis is the billet/Stand off(its actual technical name) after being cut.

2 angles of the after cut. This took quite a bit of time but will be totally worth it. More pics and updates will follow as the progress continues.

I know that there has been much pregress here, but if anyone was still looking
it seems that permastone is similar to Stewalin
a simple search on google will turn up result on where it can be purchased.
i have yet to test it (because i just found it) but, according to numerous websites, it is "microwavable, non-toxic, and water resistant."

edit
it seems that someone has already found this
see post #2843

Ok I am pretty new to vaping and have been tinkering with everything I could get my hands on since I was a little boy in my dads garage. I got into Vaping in Jan while deployed in Afghanistan to quit smoking. So I joined ECF did some research and wow the possibilities. One problem I faced was lack of supplies. So using some scrap Aircraft aluminum and a few lessons on a lathe I made this genesis hybrid. Please let me know what you think, as this is my first project ever on a lathe. It is hitting pretty good right now and flavor is unreal.mod.jpg
