Is raidy going to be angry if i sell these with a five ten connection? Is there a patent on the unit or concept?

Like I always read the German forum. I'm a developer and modder, and it should stay this way. I do not produce and sell, never. I present my ideas for private use in the forums. And so it should stay. I have no financial interest in this development.

Thanks Weapon,for those still looking for tubes,go to ebay and search crimp tubes.There's a bunch available.I think I saw 500 1.3m tubes for 99 cents.
As for plugging the top hole,I put a small piece of tape over the top half of the hole.For me that seemed to work better than plugging all of the hole.

Its because Raidy doesn't want people to make a fast buck on the back of his idea / invention.

He may feel that the Genesis is not suitable for being a ready to go out of the box product... unlike the new device he has coming soon

Moreover, raidy believes in the open source side of life. The reason the new atty is to be manufactured is it is too precise to be done DIY, and would be easily mangled in attempts to copy it.

If someone makes you one, it would be a violation of Master Raidy's instructions. He only allows some co-op work for the parts that most modders can't make themselves. Raidy did remind us that he does have enough money to hire Lawyers if anyone violates this. And of course out of respect for Raidy (not the fear of a lawyer) we all honor his wish.

at the moment i smoke to much analog and have lungs problems and i can not stop the analog smoking,this is very difficult,i am a hardcore smoker ,i have many e-cig smoke but all is not good for longtime comfortable e-smoking ,and all time order the bad china atomizer and depots and the crazy filling juice all time in the depots is very bad,

i serach a wonderfull option that i dont smoke hardcore analog and change to good longtime comfortable e-cig ,but only the hybrid tanksystem can help me to stopp to much analog ,other e-cig bring me not the power and not is good for longtime ,please help me that i dont smoke analog and change to hybrid ,ask raidy please that i can become only one hybrid for me from a expert in this forum,please now

I have a Hybrid and although it is super awesome the fact that I can make my own atty, it is certainly not the be all and end all of ecigs. For me it is more of a hobby mod and something I like to tweak and play with. Sometimes I get good results, sometimes I get bad results shorting etc. Sometimes it gunks up fast, sometimes it doesn't.
But I still drip direct on a 510 atty through out the day at work. So the hybrid hasn't become the holy grail solution for my all day vape.
It is super awesome but requires a lot of fiddling and many factors can effect how it performs.
I just recently tried the Tank, didn't like it. Currently I am trying 3 Giantomizers, so far one was terrible, one has been ok.

But each time I find myself returning to dripping my LR 510 attys on my tank battery. It is solid and consistant.

My hybrid is a beautiful looking mod, based on Raidy's amazing inventions.

I get the feeling you would only be stressed and frustrated by it and continue to smoke analogues.

Rico - I'm afraid you have to want to help yourself first. I guess that is the motivation behind pretty much everyone on this forum. From my experience, using e cigs is never more than an 80% similar experience to smoking analogues (whether it's Genisis, 510's, 401's or whatever takes your fancy at any particular moment). That inevitably involves some frustrations (mine is missing the first smoke of the day)... but if you WANT it enough, you will be successful. No one else can do it for you.

so I ordered a couple of bags. 8) You're Hybrid looks like it's performing pretty sweetly.

I have always just wrapped the K around the silver wires, pulling tight with needle pliers. I have not tried any of the other approaches. I like the simplicity of the tubes.
I'm going to get that second hole drilled out too. You had all the same symptoms that I suffer.

I know nothing about patents or this kind of stuff but i do know this was Raidy's idea and he owns it. I know you dont want to step on Raidy's toes and your trying to be nice but it was mentioned to a few people since the start of this forum that Raidy's doesnt want anyone to make a profit on his idea. He was very kind to let Peaceofcake set up a DIY so any modder that wants to make a genisis atty and hybrid make one from parts only and he didnt want Peaceofcake to sell the Genisis atty as a out of the box and ready to vapoe mod. only sell in parts only. This was done to about 50 or so people i believe and everyone respects what was said from the getgo.
My opinion is if a person want to change Raidy's Genisis to make it better or add or delete something to make it better how can that person expect to profit from this, if it wasnt his to begin with.
I dont know like i said i know nothing about patents or making mods, (even though i did make the genisis from parts and now i am on my 2nd build to adjust a few mistakes i did), but i wouldnt even think about what you are thinking about. Hope this makes sense. dont want to step on toes. Im a peacefull old man that loves to vape even though i am a bit shell shocked and screwed up from my army days of yesteryear lol. Like i used to say in the old days

cos, i understand what you are saying, but there is one issue with your argument. If nobody ever improved anyone else's design and then made a profit off of it, you wouldn't be able to buy anything really.

On the actual genesis mod, the only issue i have with it is the fiddly nature of assembly. I think the concept is great, and if i can figure out a few things i might build one for myself.

Cos, Amen and thank you. This guy Akya has been a pain in my ax ever since I put out the idea of an American co-op for raidy's genisis. By the way, yes I am still working on the co-op. I have been working my regular job overtime this week and it has been rough to meet with people.

To Akya - you have emailed so many times trying to pump me for info.....then stating you have a machinist friend and will do it first. This is not a competition, in fact it is probably going to be a pain. It isn't about first, it is about trying to get something done here, in inch measurements, to help the people that couldn't get one of POC's and also so we can find replacement parts easier. I told you before to be my guest, build it and let me know what the cost will be. At this point, I would like you to tell me if you have even built or used a genisis because I doubt that you have. Please go play somewhere else.

I have an issue with this argument. Raidy didn't invent the atomizer either. Nobody rips off Toyota's designs and builds their own (believe me, I would love if some American car manufacturer would breech this bit of etiquette, but they refuse to build a solid, reliable car at a reasonable price).

In the same way, this design is Raidy's. If someone wants to go off and invent a different atomizer for profit, that's all well and good, but they shouldn't take his hard work for their gain.
