I popped back and bought one.
I had to buy a dremel drill bit set for $9.99 for a drill bit 1.2mm.
drilled the hole.
It works perfectly. Great connection and super easy to setup.

Hi all, I'm just updating some of my tips...
The wire wrapping worked really well for e for some time, but after reading how Rat was doing his connections on the hybrid I tweaked my setup once more. I can't help it, lol, I love to tinker with things.
I took a bit of SS tube from one of my syringes and cut it into two 1/2" pieces and then made a small hole in each one. I then fed the kanthal through the small hole and pushed the sleeves onto the leads. They go on fairly easily and then cinch up tight once the tube gets near the bend on the leads.
The connection is perfect, no wrapping needed at all and has stayed solid all day with no need to fiddle after running through a whole tank of juice.
With all my other tweaks, everything is working perfectly now....awesome thick warm vapor even with high PG juice, consistent heat, no burning and no leaks.
If anyone out there is interested, I'll share the rest of my tweaks with pics.

I haven't had a lot of time to work on my US version mod with all SAE parts, but so far so good. I have not completely decided if I will go with electronics like pailpoe's or the beautiful simplicity of peaceoffcake's hybrid mini. I will likely be somewhere in the middle the final builder can set it up however they prefer.
I really like touch switches so that will be a definite part of the mod. A large number of people like 510 connections so I will design it as a full mod and a 510 mod at the same time and so far the genesis atty is where I'm thinking unless something better comes out before I'm ready to prototype.

I believe the needle is 18 ga. It came with a handful of ink refill 10ml syringes

Lorderos would love to see some pics of some of your tweaking. especially what ya did with the syringe tubes.

No problem, I'll take it all down and show how I got rid of the leaks with the o-rings and heat shrink, and how I made the tubes (shockingly simple) and how it all works put together after it's all back together again.
All the tweaking I did was to make it as easy as possible to put together while keeping maximum performance and reliability. At this point the hybrid is a working like a dream for me and giving me no probels whatsoever. Hopefully this will help the other hybrid owners get the most enjoyment out of their mod.
I'll try to put it all up in a few days...depending on how work goes this week, lol.
