I checked the mailbox yesterday evening, no mail. I was expecting 2 evolv kicks that I picked up used from a member here. Being out of work and a DAV, scraping the cash together was a challenge to get 2 mech mods/batteries/RBAs from co-ops, and 2 kicks from the classified so my wife and I could have dependable PVs. These need to last us quite a while. Getting everything except the kicks at almost 50% savings was a bonus and played a major part in being able to afford both set ups. The kicked K100 will be perfect for our vaping style and set up range.

I look at the tracking this morning and it said it was delivered yesterday about 30 minutes after I had last checked the box. So I drive down to the mail box 1/4 mile from the house to where it sits on the main road among a row of 20 other mail boxes. As I drove up I noticed all 20 mailbox doors wide open. As I draw closer, not a scrap of paper in any of them.

No insurance on the two kicks, no money to buy more. The thief won't even know what they are and are probably already in a trash can somewhere.

The ethics of some people just kill me.

That sucks. I am sorry this happened. I think there should be a better solution when it comes to packages.. In my apt they usually knock on my door and set the package next to it so that I get the packages.. Sometimes if they are small enough it will go in my little box.. that is locked with a key.. Maybe you should suggest to your community leader or landlord to invest in locked boxes. If they are locked boxes that sucks they got picked so easily. I would donate to you but i'm broke till the first of the month..

Man you guys are just awesome. I love and appreciate your generosity. I have PayPal but I don't think I would feel right taking up a collection. The kick is the one component that wasn't absolutely necessary in the set up. I will just have to watch my wife's battery usage so she doesn't over discharge her batts.

These horror stories make me want to go postal.

I'm so fortunate that I don't have any mail delivery problems since i moved away from Savannah.

I have no idea what a kick costs but there are also affordable safety fuses you can buy that'll help prevent overdischarge. You can get them at MOV for like $10 apiece.

Ya I thought about that option when deciding on buying mechanical mods. Over discharge was only one of the benefits of the kick that sealed my decision. They give VW in both my wife's and my preferred range, have short and over-discharge protection. And I got them probably $15 cheaper than store price + shipping.
