Long time lurker finally chiming in.
I just got the Titan PCC bundle from totally wicked, and I've got a few questions. I seem to remember my DSE901 being a lot more...lenient when it came to trying new flavors. A drop or two on the atomizer followed by a cartridge filled up with whatever new flavor I was trying was usually enough to clear out the taste of my previous e-juice, which was more often than not TW Camel.
With the 510, I can taste the old flavor even after I've finished an entire cartridge of something else. For example, I just got a big order in from HealthCabin, and I've been using their 18mg Kent e-juice for a couple of days. I don't know if it's just me, or if all the tobacco flavored juices taste nearly identical, but it just tastes like a milder version of the DeKang Camel e-juice. Not that I'm complaining, I love it.
I just tried a clove cartridge, and the atomizer **** itself for nearly 10 minutes, all I could get was the light on the battery slowly turning off after less than a second of vaping (and no vape). One entire cartridge and a couple drops of Kent later, and I can still taste the clove e-juice, which tastes nothing like kreteks might I add.
I've been vaping that same old bottle of TW Camel with my new 510 and it's even better than it was with the 901. The atomizer doesn't cut me off nearly as much (my friends ALWAYS comment that I smoke faster than they do. I can smoke two analogs before they're done with one, and I'm not a chainsmoker) but when it does, it REALLY cuts me off. Cooling the 901 atomizer down by blowing on it was usually enough to get it going again. The 510 atomizer gives up for about ten minutes. Is it because I have one of the "older" gold band atomizers?
