Onlyl reason I can come up with is the judge is trying to create the same jail conditions (no smoking ~ jail food). If he is going to be that hard nosed why not put him in jail? nuts! Sometimes Judges make no common sense at all.

He is in jail. He's being let out on a 'special situation' to consult for his program. Only because it's him that, that's the case. Few others could have gotten out at all, so the judge says even though you get to go out, it's only fair to those that have to stay, that you have the same 'conditions' as they do - no smokes and jail food.
What did he do to get locked up in the first place?
And i didn't realize he WAS in jail... i thought it was a conditional sentencing thing. If he committed a crime that was severe enough to warrant being sent to prison.... regardless of status or station, you should do your time like a man... suck it up and make sure commissary comes through with the honey buns..
quovadis,
That's what the association is; they use oranges to make Pruno (jail house liquor), they even tried to ban oranges from jail and used bananas so people would not make pruno.
Now you know the history of the orange and the jail.
Oh thanks for the info.
Just goes to show how much i know about jail and liquor.
I had always thought that they were badly fed and needed vitamin c supplements ...
Lol!
