There may well be other pv's out there costing less that would make you just as happy as the Provari. ( / disclaimer)

The only thing I can tell you is I got my first Provari a year ago and have never regretted it. I just bought my second one, not because the first one isn't fine ... I just wanted a different color to use sometimes. :)

I've seen precious few Provari owners complain, so you probably can't go wrong on it if you pull the trigger at Provapes. ;)

Thanks, I like the look of the box mods, I'm just having a hard time imagining myself holding one all the time (my pv always seems to be in my hand). But I really like the look of them, and will probably end up ordering one soon.

Ok...so here goes! I finally got myself started with VV on what I consider a real VV device...sorry my ego twists just don't compare now that I've purchased my Groove. So here's the dilemma, I've been trying to avoid it but after looking at posts regarding different VV devices & seeing all of the issues they have I'm starting to consider ordering a Provari. Why? Yes my Groove works wonderfully but I pretty much leave it at home when I'm working because even though it seems to be well made I'm terrified ill drop it while I'm at work.I don't know if it could take a hit to the concrete surface i stand on all day. I'm still using my twist & reg egos now while i work but its not the same anymore since i got my groove. Additionally, it seems like a lot of devices just die at some point...like my ego's and you have no other choice but to just replace them. I'm not made out of $$$$ so I'm considering purchasing the Provari mini. For me it isn't because of the name but because of the warranty & service that's behind it. I never thought I'd even consider Provari as an option but after reading & seeing constant replacements on some devices I can't afford to buy the same item time & time again.

So before I take the plunge & drink the kool-aid can somebody tell me if there is anything out there that offers the same warranty & service that Provari offers or holds up as amazingly as they do? Just considering paying that much makes me nauseated but I'm beginning to feel like it'll be cheaper in the long run.

It is cheaper in the long run and it works every time. It's incredibly well thought out and when you pick one up you can feel the quality. If you think about how much you spent on smokes or how much you'll spend on juice, why not have something that you enjoy using.

Just to be clear I love my $42 Vamo too but the Provari will probably outlast several Vamo's. My Provari was a gift to myself for getting off of cigs for good.

I destroyed my Vamo after dropping it twice. I have no such concern with my ProVari. If you drop a Vamo in such a way that the buttons take the force of the fall, they can cause the circuit board to twist. If you can't get the top cap off to realign the board you may be SOL. The ProVari is much more rugged. I have no regrets over buying a used one, and I will most likely spring for a blemished ProVari mini for a backup rather than purchasing two more Vamos as backups. Besides, the flavor tastes better from a ProVari. Something to do with the way the voltage is run through the circuits. You won't regret choosing a ProVari. :)

There it is in black and white..........Buy the Provari .. mini or full size? I would start with the full size, you can add the mini at a later date.. I would get the Blue LED as the Red is to bright IMO... Make sure you get the extention cap, not only can you use a bigger battery but it feels much better in the hand..the ext. caps edge is rounded vs the regular caps sharp edge... If you dont have a charger I do recommened the PILA charger.. About the colors.., I have owned 3 Black Satin Provaris, Im OCD about my mods, I baby them, never drop them..but over time they all developed a small scratch or two.. I now own a new V2.5 Satin Silver... no more colors for me... A Silver mini with the teardrop design would really pop...
Just to let you know my frend is not as carful with his 1 year old Provari..drops it constantly-has even jumped in the pool with it.. once it dried out for a day it worked like new..Provari's are basicly bulletproof.
