I ship some items from home and I am worried about them smelling like tobacco.

I have wondered if it is the nicotine that smells bad.

I have smelled the e-cig tobacco flavors and they smell kind of like tobacco.

I don't want any potentially offensive odors on the items or packages.

Do the fruity ones with nicotine have any offensive odor that might get on items that are being shipped?

Any e-liquid contained in a PET or glass bottle will not transfer odors, of course other steps to prevent breakage of the glass or spillage of either should be taken, but as long as their packaged to not spill you'll be fine. The softer LDPE plastic bottles can transfer odors.

I mean when it is being vaped. I wonder if the vapor filled room will be offensive and put a bad odor on inventory.

Items may pick up some odors, especially cloth. But it won't be a cigarette odor, since there is no burning smell. They could perhaps smell faintly of any flavor you vape. That will probably not be a problem, but perhaps you should stay away from flavors with very strong smells.

Ah, sorry I misunderstood. No, the vapor may have a smell, but it quickly dissapates and doesn't stay on any surfaces. Vape away!

Lol, ok looks like it won't be unanimus, so hopefully more will chime in. I stick to that the vapor smells don't stick to surfaces but I've been wrong before.

I don't think most items will pick up the odors. But cloth items could, if he is shipping clothes or something. I know my t shirts constantly smell like RY4. :) I don't see it as any big deal, personally. If I ordered an item and it smelled slightly of caramel or blueberries, fine by me, haha.

Thanks everyone. I will have to figure out what is non-tobacco flavor that I will like. :)
