Ok,

First I bought South Beach smokes and quit analogs as of 1/9/12. Then I bought a bunch of cartos for them...about 25 or so. I discovered this site and have been on it non-stop browsing, learning, researching....but I think I may have been feeding a monster !

In the last 5 weeks I have bought a Chuck, Megaladon, Omega, Lavatube, GoGo Black, GoGoPlus stainless, Mega Ego XL.
I have also bought hobby tools....dremel, needle nose pliers, DIY Kit from flavorshack, Mulitimeter, digital calipers, precision knifes and more tidbits of tools. I have bought many things right here...juices, mods, batteries.

Today I am spending over 200.00 on liquid nicotine, pg,vg,tanks, sleeves, adapters, batteries and chargers, boge cartos...all in volume.

I believe I have spent about 600.00 bucks...thereabouts.
The good news is in 1.5 months smoking it would have cost me and my wife 2 PAD x 45=630.00!!

So I am about even with the cost of analogs......should be set for awhile. The fact is even if I spent this every 6 weeks or so it would only be costing me the same as analogs!! Unreal!!
I am much healthier, have a new hobby that's fun.
NOW I know why some people here buy every mod they can get their hands on...why not! It is better than smoking and a lot more fun..:)
Does this sound like you....am I normal?:blush:...lol

I am still craving the GGTS....I never heard of it until I got here.
March 1st new ones are supposed to be available. let's do some math....1.5 PAD just me(not wife) x 30= 10.50 x 30 = 315.00
GGTS is 232.50 with 10% discount = 207.00....315.00 - 207.00 still saves me 108.00 dollars a month.

This blows me away because I smoked for 42 years....yeah every day, every week and every month.
So it is all in the 'budget" because I found a way to smoke...so I can find a way to do this also...right?

How is that for justifying a new hobby.....(polite word for obsession?)

Homeish now
ECF was built by obsessed people :p wasnt for so many of them, this place wouldnt be what it is.

If it makes you feel better....the spending Does slow down for a lot of us. You find like one or two juice venders you really like, or start to like your own. Figure out which mods Fits you best and it start to slow up a lot.

I know the feeling all too well! :) I've spent several hundred dollars in the last few weeks. But on the plus side, I now have hardware that I like, cartos that I like, and juice that I like. So from here on, it's just a matter of maintaining the hobby/lifestyle, with the occasional new flavor or new bit of hardware thrown in.

I haven't got it quite as bad as PaulieD but seem to be slowly headed there. Got plenty of ego batteries and juice to keep going. Getting settled on carts and tanks. Researching and getting ready for vv and mods to try. Only problem I see is that I will probably change cartos and tank preferences if I change pv. Not positive but the experimenting will never end. Seems like it would be kind of fun to get up in the morning and decide what you want to vape with for the day, what flavor for the day, and then backups for the day. Could be fun or all the decisions might make it too much work. I waffle between keep it simple stupid and let's try everything and then settle down. So far a blast and they just keep coming up with new items monthly or even weekly. I am like a fish and they have me hooked and are just playing with me.

As my signature says $580 odd so far but I will not be running out of carto's or juice for the month or so.

Have about 200ml of juice for me and approaching 100ml for the wife. About all on my horizon is 100ml of Boba's Bounty and I will be set.

I have posted before about the hard part has been finding a juice and within 2 days I have 3 or 4 that I am loving.

Now the hard part will be keeping away from Mods. I am happy with my Ego 18650's but know that I will crack eventually but determined to start to see the savings start to outweigh expenditure first.

I am in same obsessed league with OP. So far bought apollo starter kit, lasted me a week off Analog before i bought a LT, Bolt, Megladon, and now a Provari. passed up on a Darwin as Provari is more my style, though came close to placing order. I have 8 tanks DCA306 on order, Arty4 on order, Who's your daddy/slap your mamma on order. I have bought over 30 cats in different configs, and over 400 ml of different juices. I haven't found a fav yet unfortunately and found many i hated,, reviews are hard to follow as personal tastes clearly vary in ejuice.

I now bought 180ml of RY4 and am buying base flavors to mix into 6 different concoctions to experiment.

I love to Vap, haven't had one craving from quitting analog and feel great about being off cigs after 30 + years!

The cost, bah who cares, it is fun to learn new hobby that doesn't involve smoking tobacco. Also i have found 12mg as satisfying as 18mg was just weeks ago. I intend to go to 0mg in months.
