Um, the continuous amp rating is 30, the pulse rating is a wee bit higher, so yeah, can pulse them higher, and wear them out faster, and making them less safe to use, but sure, yeah, no prob, can pulsed higher fer sur.
Okay so it's not safe to go past the 30a even being in a vape that is used in pulse hits. Is this like a really bad idea and common for something to go wrong or just something the manufacture says to save it's ...?
Well it's like this, can your car/bike/transport go 140 mph and redline at 6k, and can you do that safely, well, frak yeah you can, under the right circumstances and under highly focused undertakings, but to do it continuously? What kind of watts you vaping at? want to go 0.10 or something?? Just curious. Cause usually, if you have to ask, heck, ya probably shouldn't do it till you know ya know. or something like that..
I vape from .2-.19 which keeps it under the 30a limit by quite a bit. The .19 is only at 22a. But I'm debating on getting a 26650 or not because I want more out of it without it being super unsafe. Also I have another thread on how having two parallel 18650s are different from one besides mAh or if I'll be safer going over 30a.
The Sony 26650 has an advertised amp limit of 50amps. But damn, that would be a crazy hot vape! I'd want 1" air holes and an air conditioning unit in my atty to try to vape something like that!
Be nice. You are a "super veteran" think you'd act a little more professional. My mod won't auto fire as I take thee time to remove my batteries when I do put it in my pocket. If it's not in my pocket it's right next to me with the bottom button unscrewed far from the battery with the lock on (nemesis) so your comment was completely irrelevant. I may not be a "super veteran" on a forum but I know enough not to keep it auto fired. Also I'd only have the .08 build in my "cloud rda" and have another at .2 for my daily use.
