I've been up about 12 hours so far today and have only been vaping 0mg ejuice, I usually vape between 3 and 6mg and never really tried 0mg to this extent, I do notice a bit of a headache in the back of my mind but it's very tolerable, also noticed I'm not craving the vape so much.

I've done a lot of research into nicotine over the last year, I'm assuming most of us have watched endless youtube videos and read tonnes of material on it, it's not that addictive as the .gov makes it out to seem but I never really tried 0mg because I would always think back to when I smoked stinkies and thought the withdrawal would be kinda the same, migraines, irritable etc etc but it not at all the same.

Anyways I've come really believe in vaping more than I ever had before since this little experiment of mine, not really a point to this story but thought I'd share, I do enjoy the ups and downs of nicotine though and I'm filling my tank with 5mg as I write this..

Definitely would suggest giving it a try even just for lulz but start out the day without nic.

Try the 0 nic in your last "tank" of the day before bedtime. When you get up in the morning, have your nic along with first cup of coffee. Both are "stimulators". We need to get "rev'ed' up in the mornings. :) If you are wanting to eventually cut out nic altogether, just start the 0 nic earlier in evening, late afternoon, mid-afternoon, etc. .......It might work. Ha! :)

You have inspired me. I was a 40 year chain smoker and started at 24mg over 3 years ago. I have slowly decreased, sometimes forced by my body, sometimes voluntarily, over time. I vape unflavored and mix 250 mil at a time (about 30-40 days). On my last batch I dropped from 5mg to 4mg. It really seems to be more of a mental thing.

So, I just filled a small tank with 0mg. I'm going to try it out this afternoon. If it works, I've got 20+ years of nic in the freezer to consider.

I have not vaped much nic the last few years, but I enjoy it once in a while. I actually like the effect of it most in the mornings and the evenings, but mostly I use it for the TH.

I guess we're all different ... whatever works is good :)

After tapering down for some time i've been nic free for about 3 months. There is no appreciable difference between 0 and 3mg other than the psychological.

T

I also found when I was weaning off nic there was not much difference between 3 and 0. OTOH, once I had been off nic for a few months I could really notice it at a couple of mg at 30 watts.

Not sure that I'm going off nic completely. Being on the downhill side of 70 and fast becoming really old, hoping the recent research is going to prove for sure that nic helps in cognitive abilities and Alsheimers. Don't really want to wind up in that unit or be a burden to my kids. :)

Funny, I just got my Zamplebox this past Saturday, and I forgot I set it to 0mg. I was very happy with the flavors they sent me, so I washed out my TFv4 and filled it up with the skittles-type flavor... I took a pull and was instantly transported to when I started vaping (skittles was one of my first flavors).

Then it seemed that every breath I take (every move you make, i'll be watching youuuuuu ) I was vaping... Like I wasn't reaching a point where I could stop. I got the same headache as @Asylumsix, and then woke up Sunday morning with a migraine. 600mg of ibuprofen didn't even help. I really wanted to make the move to 0mg, but maybe I'm not ready?

I started on 0mg as I came from pipes, and cigars, but I quickly found I was missing the feeling I got from smoking int he evening. I went to just 3mg for sub-ohm, and 6mg for tootle.

Liskrig, wish I could find the thread started by a Prof. who was concerned about losing concentration and started vaping using nic. Never smoked. Seems like I remember him saying that he had less migraines when he vaped.

I use to get migraines as a teenager that would flat put me down. Started smoking at 16 yrs. and never got them again. Been vaping for 27 mos. from 9 now 3 mg nic and still don't have them. Never got that head pounding, "got to gouge out my eyes they hurt so bad feeling" after a night of drinking either. Counld it be that there are some of us that need our head veins to be constantly contricted to prevent headaches? :)
