Recently, I've been dealing with sore throat problems, which I feel are vaping related.
I'm relatively new, but this isn't one of those 'first week sore throat' problems. I never got those.
I've tried a variety of combinations in VG/PG analogies, from full VG to full PG and the inbetween. The sore throat will come back in the morning regardless of the combination.
I know hydration is a common cure, but I do drink a lot of water. And I mean a lot, can't stress this enough.

So, since I've gone past the most common answers to my problem, I'm starting to formulate it might be the nicotine strength. I vape way more than I ever smoked, so could nicotine, by nature an irritant, be the culprit here? Could dropping the nicotine strength be the answer?

Just wanted to hear your opinions really on this. Perhaps I'm missing something too.

No need to feel dumb! Many people don't realize you can do this.

You can mix down all sorts of juices. With equal amounts it's easy math. Add the concentrations and divide by two. For unequal amounts you have to do a little more math. You basically add up the total amount of nicotine and divide by the total volume.

So, if you wanted to mix say... 5 ml of the 9 mg/ml and 4 ml of the 16 mg/ml you do this:

5 ml * 9 mg/ml = 45 mg nicotine
4 ml * 16 mg/ml = 64 mg nicotine

That's a total of 109 mg of nicotine in a total of 9 ml. So 109 mg/ 9 ml = 12.1 mg/ml

E=((A*B)+(C*D))/(A+C)

A = Amount in ml of Liquid 1
B = Amount of Nic of Liquid 1 (24mg...)
C = Amount in ml of Liquid 2
D = Amount of Nic of Liquid 2 (18ml...)
E = Final Nicotine Strength
Final Amount = A+C

Here you go if you are a math nerd! I think this is right...

Who says you don't use Algebra after high school? Pffft.

Just a thought.... when I was smoking I developed a cough while I was sleeping. Didn't even know til my boyfriend told me. That continued for a bit after I stopped smoking so part of my sore throat was from that. I don't cough like that at all anymore. I vape 80/20 with "added throat hit" and don't have any issues.

Depending on how long ago you quit, could it be related? I'm kinda just thinking "out loud" here.

What resistance are you setup at? Sometimes the heat can cause this too I think, Ive been vaping consistenly for about 6 months and this happened to me randomly once and I think it was because I was sub ohming too hard. Ususally Im right around .5-.7 but I was at .3-.4 for a while and I quickly changed back to my normal setup and it went away.
