I just realized today is my 2 month anniversary, although a ticker would say 59 days because of that pesky February being short thing. Nevertheless, yay me!![]()
And here I was going to ignore this thread; congrats starsong!

Today is two months for me also. It has been really easy for me. I am quite surprised by it all.
What are we talking about? I'm completely lost...I must have missed a memo or something. See what happens when you ignore this thread?
Congrats, star. I have no anniversary because I still cheat. I guess I could say it's been almost 90 days since I've had more than 10 cigarettes in a single day, and over 60 days since I've had more than 4. I used to smoke 2 packs a day.
But otherwise, I don't really think about them any more. And I can still hardly believe it after so many years.Frick, that's still a win congratulation and congratulations to Star and Dee
Thanks Frick. I think we can safely go with the 'over 60 days' since you became a regular vaper. Those 4 are part of your daily routine, but otherwise you vape - and that is awesome!
I never said it was 2 months completely cig-free. Just 2 months since it became the normal daily choice. There have been a few cigs that snuck their way in, but those were either experimental (I wonder how it would taste now), or after that one really horrid day at work (I'll show them! I'll smoke! Ha!)But otherwise, I don't really think about them any more. And I can still hardly believe it after so many years.
I don't really think about them anymore, and I go to work without any analogs, and that's a huge thing for me.
this is as close as it gets![]()
Starsong, I meant to comment earlier. You have a lovely, infectious smile!
BTW.... everyone. It is official. You can vape in a Hospital (at least in the one I was at). I was visiting my sister in a Hospital in Kansas and nobody even looked twice at me. The nurses all knew what it was. One told me her husband is a vaper. The main doctor that was seeing my sister said "Good for you getting off of those cigarettes" and said his brother had just quit with an ecig too. It was sureal. But, they did insist that you not do it in any sensitive areas like the ICU. My sister's room and the waiting room were both A-OK though. I also vaped at the Outback, Joe's Crab Shack, a Shopping Mall, and in my Hotel Room with no problems at all. I wanted to see if the larger Cities were accepting of it, so I did it everywhere to see what the response would be. I am so pleased that the word is finally getting out to the general population.
