I don't mind if people don't like the idea, but no response?
I've been bit torrenting all my entertainment for months now, so I don't think I'm in any position to complain about questionable streams.
I've...um, been known to torrent a thing or two myself, so I know from whence you come.
I just worry that their streams are probably under constant DMCA takedown pressure, but somehow they manage to fly under the radar and keep on streaming. I almost didn't post that site here, because although it's quite popular, no one I talk to has ever heard of it. I want my streaming CNN and MSNBC at work.

I'm sorry! I didn't realize you wanted a response. I figured you wanted action. Unfortunately, I am not able to make calls during working hours. I had hoped that others would call though! Were you able to get through? How'd it go?
I did it, my bad. kept hitting refresh hoping Slim would reply to my PM before I went to bed but I think I better get some sleep now because I have a few things to do before I go in to work.
But I remembered to copy my post so when it came back I didn't have to type it all again.
Please, I don't want anyone to be sorry. And of course, no one should feel obligated to do anything. I guess I just thought people would either say they thought it was a terrible idea, or they weren't sure about it, or that they agreed and were thinking about calling, etc.
I guess I should have modeled it after moveon.org and added something like, "report your call here (or PM me if you prefer to keep it quiet)." It's just that so many of us are unhappy about how things are going, and I know the people who have the power to make the changes are probably not aware of how upset their customers are.
I called Mike about 3 weeks ago, after the week when neither Leaford, nor nyc had posted a word. Mike was unaware that no one from Bloog had been on the sub-forum for at least a week. I thought we had a nice conversation and I let him know I was calling because I wanted Bloog to do well, and that I was concerned because even Bloog's regular customers were getting upset. We talked about some of the items on my list, but not all of them. He told me at that time that the new website would be ready in 30 days. Now I think we're being told another 5 weeks.
Mike thanked me for my feedback and said he would get on the forum himself. But he hasn't followed through. He told me to call him again if he could ever do anything for me, or if I had further concerns. I have waited a few weeks because I wanted to give him time to respond to some of the issues we discussed. I am going to call again, but I thought it would be more effective if it didn't seem like only one person was concerned about these issues.
Maybe it won't help, but before I give up on a company, I at least want to give them some constructive feedback and give them a chance to make improvements. I thought a group effort might help get the owner's attention. If the calls don't change anything, what have we lost? Nothing more than we might lose if we don't call. But that's just my thinking. Others probably feel differently about it.
