I'd just like to thank Newme once more for starting this thread (and Leaford & Toni for not killing it). It used to be mostly fairly dry posts in this forum (all work, no play), and not much activity. But lately we've been having lots of fun and I'm hanging out here more than (ahem) other areas. There are still several more serious, informative threads, but it is nice to take a break and goof off with fellow Bloog enthusiasts.

On the pepper thing: I don't have an issue with pepper, but certain things taste very strong when they never did as a full-time smoker. Pepperoni on pizza is sometimes so hot-tasting it burns my mouth, salt on french fries (I only need a tiny bit now), etc. Strange. And I hate smelling someone who smells like a cigarette now...and I smelled like that for decades.
I just (ahem) ignore it.

The smoke smell only used to bother me when I was trying to quit the conventional ways. Then, I insanely wanted to get to that person and bum one.
Now, I just smell it. I'm not repulsed yet, but I can generally tell how long it's been since they've had one. Strong, weak, or just plain stale.
