ThanksI was grumbling all the way home, because not only did I leave BOTH my brand new bats on my desk, but the only other one I had was supposedly charging in Brand X's PCC, and when I took that out, it was dead as a doornail. arrrrrgh! I have come to the conclusion that the Bloog bats won't charge in the riv4l standard PCC. Have never been able to get them to charge in that. Didn't think I'd need a new one, but looks like I do. But hate to get a model that will soon be replaced by something newer. All mine are 78 & 102.

Well, I'm getting an update later today, but I wouldn't expect the new Mini-PCC for a couple months yet.

starsong, I really like the red battery color as well; I call it Dr. Pepper red. I love both my red and blue batteries, but I still think blue is my favorite.

OK see... when you say 'mini' I assume that means they are for the 65mm, like the description on the website. Which is why I can't use that one either.
No, we call it a Mini-PCC because it's smaller and lighter than regular PCCs. That it also works as a name because it only fits Mini batts is an added benefit, and why we call the 65mm batts minis instead of shorties, or something else.
The new version, when it's finished will be about the same size and thickness, maybe a couple mm wider, maybe not. It will be adjustable from 55mm to 78mm to fit both regular and minis, as well as the 55mm batts we will add eventually. And it will have storage space for 2 or 3 cartos, still not quite sure which. I think 2 is the most carto slots we can fit, but my engineer thinks he can make 3 fit. We will also have an extra-long version which will fit from 55mm to 102mm batts, with 4 or 5 carto slots.
But unfortunately I didn't get my progress check today. Our engineer got "called away" at the last minute. From experience, that means his friend the Police captain just called him to let him know about an illegal underground MahJong game.
I'd be mad, but it's his factory after all, he just lets me use it.
Besides, if he wins, he always takes me out for a KTV party with his winnings!
KTV is a Karaoke joint. They're usually pretty fancy, at least the ones I go to. You get a private room with a big screen for the videos, there's a touch screen computer to select the music, they have a DJ and waitress for the room, fruit platters and snacks, hostesses to sing with you, and booze, booze, booze!!
Wow. So, like the perfect venue to make a complete ... of yourself while having the time of your life. Cool.
Then I shall be rooting for your friend and engineer, Wang Yi-min, to kick ... at MahJong.
