Spheroid v2 - Anyone Using This?

Free hand here don't need to be pretty you could put your wick around a small paper clip to make it rigid then pull it out when done.

The only thing I don't like about the SpheroidV2 is the name!!!

Vinv. I can really imagine trying to pull the wick through a premade coil is a PITA, but it can be done I guess. If using the provided wick, try wrapping your coil around the wick, use a paper clip, pin, needle or something as a way to keep the coils from being to tight and for support of the wick material while wrapping. If using thick wick, really don't need something like that, just wrap around the wick. Place coil/wick between 2 posts, with wire end going to each, so it is sitting right over the air hole. Secure it, pull the pin, rim the extra wire, just slightly lift it off the air hole so it is not grounding out to it. Then check wet it, setup tank, vape. On a mech mod, I shoot for a 1.5Ω and on my Provari, anything greater then that.

I run mine similar. But notice how mine is between the posts. This was suggested by a Greek friend zalaros, and I noticed an improvement right off.(Forgive the old wick/coil, I have been running this for a week with a tobac flavor, but oh so good).

How do you guys wrap the coil ? freehand ? it's damn hard , I can manage to make perfect coils but when it comes down to slipping the wick though the coil I mess up! wrapping kanthal around the wicks does not provide good coils basically I get less vapour then I do with that damned default-I-win-button-vivi nova , so ...... ...

I use a tooth pick to help makes the hole thing easy to wrap.

Does anyone use the Blue foam filler material or the default filler material that comes with the unit ?

Dose anyone know where to get some wick that comes with the spheroid I have some but the its not the same seems to be woven or wound better than what I bought.

Hey guys, was searching the forum for filler tips.

Vinv, wrapping good coils is easy freehand. If your using kanthal maybe try heating the kanthal up with a lighter a few times to make it less springy? i use 34 AWG nichrome, 4 wraps on a double 2mm wick and gives me 2.0 ohm. Found nichrome easier to work than kanthal

Was wondering if anyone has suggestions for the amount of filler to use depending on the PG/VG ratio?

So far i found 1.5cm wide by 5.5-6cm long awesome for 80/20 mix.

currently using a new juice and i think its a 70/30 mix and i can't find the right balance.

Suggestions anyone?
