Dear Provape,

As a spider enthusiast, I think you need to redesign the Provari with Spider safety in mind.

The fact that the cap comes off, is an invitation to our 8 legged arachnid friends. It lures them in... and offers only captivity and a shaken death through non consensual flight. Also, even though IMR batteries provide a margin of safety at failure... a thermal failing IMR battery would indeed kill a spider.

As a customer, I will not do business with you unless you address the safety of spiders, whether they are guests, or invited by the user. I'd also request the support of the community in preventing the murder of spiders by Provape.

Next thing you know- they'll tell us it's a "feature".

Stand up to big business! Speak truth to power!

Thank you,

Me

I hate spiders myself, and have always feared going to take a vape and one crawling out of one of my Atty's into my mouth. With some liquids being sweet they could be attracted to them though the Nic would probably knock them out :) but when you have a bunch of Mods sitting on a table over night it could happen, Yikes
This whole thread is funny, love the spider pix.

Just as an anecdote, whenever I set down open cartos, drip tips, etc, outside on a table somewhere where insects can get near it, I inevitably come back to a small circle of dead bugs surrounding it. OhMyGawd, sweet, awesome smelling, yummy, OD, drop dead, game over.

Nicotine is an excellent insect repellent/killer, it's still used quite commonly on organic vegetables ('cuz it's organic). The single downside being it is more expensive than other insect killer which is more commonly used.

If a spider crawled into your drip tip, and managed to come into contact with some juice, it really doesn't have a very long lifespan ahead.
