SplitFire dry hits

I just upgraded from my ego twists to a Vamo. Ordered a SplitFire tank and iClear 30 tank. I'm getting horrible dry hits off the SplitFire. I filled it in the bottom tank and primed the wicks in the top tank and let it sit for about 15 minutes. It's been about an hour and have wet the top wicks a couple of more times and still just getting dry hits. Anyone else having this problem? Please help!!!

is your vamo in RMS or AVG mode? the AVG gives some nasty harsh hits.

RMS. It's working fine with my mini novas.

What are your settings on the vamo? Volts or Watts?

I believe I had it on volts at that time.
