I guess some guys just aren't that into the hobby part.

Oh well, maybe I can make a deal with him..... If he keeps the ferret cage clean, I will keep trouble shooting his gear.
Yeah, just make sure his idea of "clean" is at least close to what you imagine!

I get in trouble for spending too much on vape gear! my OH would have been happy with her little ego and ce5 then i started researching and discussing new tanks etc, got myself an MVP 20W and Kanger aerotank, she then toddled off and bought a full kanger pen kit - paid about£50 for it - so we now have an agreement - I tell her what i'm spending and why and she lets me do it because i save us money lol

but i will admit our e-juice collection is overtaking our boxes

He could just be playing off of your fear of him reverting back to analogs to get you to continue doing the work. Maybe it is frustrating for him to learn, and he is afraid to admit it. Or maybe he just isn't interested, some people are not tinkerers lol.

Communication is key.

He hates tinkering, I know this as I am the one who fixes everything around the house.

The problem is we both work full time and have wicked commutes (1 1/2 hours each way) so laying the bulk of the responsibility on me along with everything else I end up doing since he travels a lot just gets old. It really isn't that hard if you aren't rebuilding and I still end up managing his gear, doing all the research and buying everything!

On the up side, I almost never do dishes. :w00t:

I would fill tanks and charge mods all day if I never had to do the dishes lol. I'd draw the line at coil building though, he needs to learn.

My hubby has learned to change his coils (I rebuild them). He has also learned how to refill his aero tank but I make the juice. We just had our 35th wedding anniversary. He did build me a house though, and I'm not talking about hiring contractors, he built it. He's a keeper so I'm not gonna complain :D

I'm not currently married or in a relationship, but when I have been, I was by far the more mechanical one. I'm perfectly happy to do the mechanical stuff if he will help with housework and cooking :)

So, yes, if I had a partner who vaped, I wouldn't mind doing the e cig maintenence.

I guess when you get new gear, just buy two of everything since you know he will want his own once he sees it.

Ding! Ding! Ding! we have a winnah.

You aren't fond of the ferret cage cleaning and he isn't fond of the vaping troubleshooting.

"Make lemonade out of the lemons."

When I was married, I much preferred housework to say yardwork. My ex and I traded those duties quite often with good results.
Now, there WAS that phone call from my Dad when he just said, "Would you mind telling me why your wife is up working on the roof of your house?" :grr: It was just Kinda the right answer to him when I told him, "Yeah, but when she comes Down off the roof, she comes into a clean house, with all the laundry done and dinner on the table."

Yup, that is pretty much us! :)

Some people find it odd, but our personalities just match up that way. I fix the lawn mower and the dryer, he does the dishes and the floors.

I guess it is more the fact that I am so pressed for time as it is with work and my commute that I just get a little frustrated. I'll get over it.

My husband doesnt vape or smoke, so I don't get this *exactly*... but I do get a lot of profanity whenever Windows does something unexpected; he acts like he's never seen the BSOD before, or knows where the OFF switch is. I'm the PC whisperer around here. :D

I think its time to call a lawyer..

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

(OK, so maybe I thought about it briefly)

This cracked me up too!

My OH initially knew nothing about her gear. Now she can change a coil in her tank & fill with juice [HASHTAG]#LikeABoss[/HASHTAG]! :vapor:

Since she's happy with her lil setup, every time I buy new gear I have to buy her something from Victoria Secrets. ;)

Win/Win :p

Needless to say I sloooooowed way down on my gear spending!
