My wife and I starting vaping together. We have both wanted to quit smoking for a long time now and so far we are down to 4 or 5 analogs a day each from 17 a day for me and 12 a day for her. Hell I even dropped off 2 complete 510 kits for my parents this past weekend hoping they would follow our lead. Only time will tell on that one but they are both interested in quiting smoking. Hopefully it goes well for them.

I ordered starter sets for both DH & me. So far, I'm the only one vaping altho he always tries out my new juices. He loves the juices but just can't seem to make the total switch yet...doesn't make "cocktail hour" easy for me as I admit I have had a few analogs even tho they tasted worse than a burned out cart...yuck! He's going on a 2 day business trip Sunday so I'll get 2 days of no temptations lol. I'm not pressing him as I remember that in the past when my mother bugged me about quitting I just smoked more. He did mostly vape when we took a 3 1/2 hr car trip last weekend so hopefully he's catching on. Time will tell!

When I started vaping over a year ago, it was pretty much just me. My hubby was happy that I was able to refrain from analogs even when he went outside to smoke. A couple months in, I found and tried another model and he liked it. He said my other one didn't give him that throat hit. So he tried to lay off the analogs. His hard times were in the morning and after a meal, but kept on the vaping during the day. He ended up trashing his ecig at work and vaping until buring the cartos out and went back to bumming cigs from his coworkers. His smoking has gone done a lot. We used to smoke about a pack and a half a day. Now, if he does smoke at all, he'll have one or two a day. I got a couple eGos a few weeks ago, and he really likes it. Even got his boss, who he was bumming from, interested. I ordered a kit for him too :) He received it yesterday, and I got some some Flue Cured outta my stash and a DIY Jamacian Rum that I made. He loved the Rum :)

Since the eGo, he hasn't smoked at home, but I can smell when he does smoke at work. He sounds so guilty too lol... "I was bad today", he'll tell me. I'm just happy that we're not totally dependant on analogs anymore, and we're also not spending $16-$20 every two days on a pack.

The kids are very happy too. The year before I found ecigs, was the first time they started to ask us to quit. Perfect timing!

My hubby quit cold turkey for about 1 week then it got to him. He complained when I decided the Blu was not cutting it and ordered 510 mega. Now he's using the Blu and it tickles him when I offer him the 510. I vape more than him but he is starting to catch up. We are much happier and no more discussions about who was making the late night run to gas station.

Hubby quit smoking about 30 years ago.....22 years before I met him. I was a smoker when we met so he knew what he was getting into :2cool: To his credit he never fussed at me about quiting. I did smoke in the house and my car but never in his truck. After we retired and started traveling full time in the 5th wheel it was kind of hard cause I refused to smoke in the 5th wheel (to small) and I couldn't smoke in the truck (his request).

I've been analog free since July 10th. The first thing he said to me after I vaped for the first time is good for you, now you can vape in the truck!!!! :) I get a kick out of him trying to figure out what flavor I'm vapeing.

Love to see all the replies....I hear the turning the kitchen counter into the science lab, I have a set up as well on the kitchen Island but he is now very happy I have found this and he has given it a try when he was out of smokes, hopefully he will begin a little bit more here and there, a work in progress, but he is really happy I have stopped smoking.

Thanks to all for sharing!

My wife was funny. She was a low-volume smoker (about 4-5 analogues a day). When I told her i got a new 'binky' that was helping me quit smoking (30 analogues / day), she thought i was crazy and asked if I minded if she smoked in front of me. I ended up buying her a 510, so she could try vaping. To make a long story short, she loves vaping, and has introduced our daughter (who didn't smoke, but loves the flavors with 0 nic), and our friends to vaping. The family that vap's together...

My husband is very supportive and thinks it's so wonderful. I still smoke a analog here and there during the day (only been at vaping 4 days now) and he frowns but doesn't say anything. He has chewed for years and just today said to me "I have been thinking about getting me one of those to help me stop chewing" :). I really want to stop analog completely but I am having a bit of a hard time giving them up all together.

My wife was extremely supportive at first, and was even trying my flavors (she used to smoke) for awhile.

But she eventually got sort of tired of vaping being the only thing I could talk about for the first couple of months.
That was during the "Cartridge Modifications Phase" of my vaping before I started dripping.
:)

She never once has asked me when I'm going to stop using my electronic cigarette.
She knew I had no intention of ever quitting smoking, and so she never had any expectation I would quit using this.

In public, she is very supportive, and has ECF cards and CASAA brochures in her car that she hands out sometimes.
Although mostly she has them for when I am in her car and need to hand some out.
