I just had my first spring collapse on my 2 week old mini
I'm blaming the dual coil carto I had just screwed on to revisit carto's. Not going there again.
Fortunately I ordered a spare when I bought my mini and grand or I'd be down to one reo till more springs get here.
When I removed the flat spring it was sticky underneath so I gave the inside of the case a good wipe out before I installed the new spring thinking some juice must have gotten under the spring.
Now I am wondering if it may have actually been noalox under there to help make a good electrical contact between the spring and the case.
Advice please!!!
