This is from the company I bought it from....this make any sense??? Of course a product like the E Motion is almost a perfect RTA. There's not
much that can go wrong with it - save for the simplest of things. I don't
want to sound condescending whatsoever, seeing as you must be at least
expert to be handling such an RTA, but did you make sure to stick the wick
directly into the air inlets? It is not enough for the deck to have wick,
but I found more than ample users don't get the ends of the wick into the
little cubbies for it. The tip of the wick should be pushed in from the
middle with a flathead screwdriver, or something like an ice pick, anything
really that can get it in that little hole. The middle of the deck is
designed to act as a wedge to drive the wick as far as you can into the side
of the deck. If you look on the deck walls, you should be able to see the
air inlet. If the wick doesn't go directly in there, you will definitely
lose juice. I remember it took me quite a few builds until I got my E Motion
right where I wanted it.

Let me know if the wick is all the way where it is supposed to be. As you
can imagine, I am just waiting for a defective unit - we have never had one,
so there has to be that one at least.

Even Audemars Piguet and Patek Phillipe has a defect rate! We can proceed
from there and I will escalate this support request if that doesn't work.
You already refurbished the o-rings, so that's off the list. You got the
vacuum portion of the tank down pat seeing as when you work on it, you close
the refill holes. When you refill it, you lock the AFC, right? And when you
are vaping, do you hear a satisfying click into place when the AFC is open?

Top fill cap sounds like again.

Not your orings or wicking
it has very small amount of a turn,
mine worked perfectly for one week too.
Then very similar thing to yours.

Top cap is a pain has a small amount of a turn then gets really tight/ stiff

Then Actually turns another couple of lose full twists again, as it raises the chamber to allow juice to coils
its quite strange,

Ive Ordered new top caps Airflow rings to see if all are the same, or if a lighter coloured top will allow me to see if fill hole are opened or shut more clearly.
Im getting older an my eye sight isnt as good as once was there just too small to always see properly especially if not in a brightly lit room.

But i do know if mine floods/ leaks 99% of the time its related to the stupid top cap and refilling holes not sealing properly , sometimes they just dont seem to seal properly. allowing it just run juice past my wicks and out of the airflow,

It only has a small amount of a turn but i do think it grips the chimney chamber and turns that too at times.

You could be refilling with a opened up chimney chamber so it just floods past your wicks , i believe its all to do with this top cap,

Theres definitely something flawed with this top cap design , it is only supposed to turn a small amount,
But instead it goes tight then can turn past that an goes very lose for a couple more twists before locking in position,

As i say i find it stupidly annoying,
on an other wise excellent RTA that really makes it a bit [emoji90] at times, so only use at home now with the Be deck which is excellent vape,

So i have instead for out and about been using a Cloudone V3 RTA for pocket carrying.
which i have not put down from daily use in over 2 wks.
Its an in-between draw not DTL an not MTL more of a restriced DTL just has never leaked once performs perfectly well.

All I know is that it's losing vacuum somewhere...and I agree I'm 95% sure it has something to do with the top cap too. An what Toolman said you pay that much money for a RTA that thing should work flawlessly and especially from a company like Stattqualm, not sure how all the R&D didnt catch this. I just hope hey make it right cause all said and done I have $200 in a RTA and accessories that's useless to me and money don't grow on trees at my house. Stattqualm did email me back today so we'll see what comes of it.

Just needs more attention giving to the top cap like double triple checking lol
when refilling. Even when you think its closed off its not ,
Which too me make it a big Design flaw
Would of been better with a screw up chimney chamber and a full Removaable top cap to fill , Rather than the silly little holes that cause it to lose its seal

I actually don't mind the way you fill it if ya have a unicorn bottle and how it works but like you said it needs attention. I'd prefer a removable top cap or bottom fill. They're just trying to be innovators which I can respect but it's gotta work or it's pointless...which in my case it don't at all. I'm surprised more people don't have the problems I'm having they gotta all be pretty much identical

Well I got them going just fine now. After getting my new build in and opening up the juice control if I flip the tank upside down a few times it must equalize the vacuum/pressure inside and the tank and doesn't leak a drop. Not sure why that is but as of now it's working like a dream! An also StattQualms customer service is awesome. They were super quick to reply back and help out anyway they could. Even suggested sending them the RTA to Switzerland! Gotta say they have me as a customer for life!

How is your E now? I have one too and the leaking is pretty bad. I use the W deck and I was confused by the text you posted from the company you purchased your E from.
They mentioned little air holes on the deck and cotton needing to be stuffed in there? I do not have any air holes on my deck.

So is turning the tank upside down a few times after a refill still helping with your leaking?

Thanks in advance.

Ya what he ended up meaning was on the W deck at the edges where you cut your cotton it has those little grooves that are cut into the side. He was saying to have cotton in those pretty thick. Well I built each tank once turning them upside down and both worked fine. I got the B deck and tried that the same way but it leaked all over so honestly I don't know if that's helping or not. Mine always happens when I put a fresh build in and after I open the JC and start vaping. After 2-3 pulls it'll flood and start leaking through the AFC. As soon as that starts I can shut off the JC quickly and blow it out/clean everything. Then with it still shut I'll take 3-4 pulls to get rid of some of the juice until it's on the verge of a dry hit. Then open it back up and it works perfectly from there on out with refilling and everything. It's a weird deal that has me stumped. I think it has something to do with the vacuum in the tank possibly related to the top fill design. I'm not sure if your problem is similar to mine or not
