Um, so my tanks been doing great for a day now. vaping beautifully. Then I take a closer look at the glass this morning and notice little hairline cracks all over the glass tank. Lol, so I guess I spoke too soon about this Kingtu. I don't see how this thing got cracked. Its literally just sat on my desk and thats it, I haven't taken it anywhere or caused any impact or anything, its just been sitting on my desk. I only built it and filled it with eliquid one time so far. And a day later the glass starts cracking entirely on its own . Geniuses in China probably used o-rings that are way too tight.

Looks like I'll just get an authentic replacement glass. Or an authentic Squape R period, I just wish I could find the damn thing somewhere.

If you bought the clone from vapers, it is not glass even though the manufacturer and gvapers advertise it as such....I thought I would get wise and order real glass from vaperev. This was a bad move as the glass for the original does not fit the clone.

(sent from an alien device...it translates English into Klingon)

No I have the Kingtu clone. Someone else with the Kingtu also posted a few pages back that he got the authentic glass and it fit perfect. Better than the crap glass and o-rings Kingtu supplies.

I have no idea which clone Gvapers has, but I'm assuming its probably the Ivogo clone since that seems to be the clone from hell.

@petemoss or anyone else with an AUTHENTIC SQR - Is the authenic challenging to wick properly? Touchy?

I currently have a KingTut and let me tell you this is one temperamental beast with respect to proper wicking. This is NOT my first rodeo /lol and I've been building and wicking my KFs and drippers with organic cotton for over a year. Repeatable and spot on every time.

Actually I would not normally bother with this frustration but when it wicks properly the flavor is outstanding. Slightly better than my KF with the one juice I have been using.

Any guidence from authentic users would be appreciated.

:)

Only had my original since yesterday, but no issues wicking it, just did as I do with my functional clone and all was well in vaping land :)

I set the coil so it just dips in the "well" of the deck, but most of it being above the deck, cut a piece of Japanese organic cotton about twice the width of the coil and pull it through.
Then I make sure that the horizontal channels are filled with cotton, to prevent flooding, and cut the wick so that it exceeds the deck just a little bit. That way, the small amount of cotton needed in the vertical channels, happens pretty much automatically, when I screw the base on the tank.
Edit: Sorry for pimping my own stuff here, but pictures explain it even better - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ial-squape-r-eloaded-thread.html#post14559909

haha I'm afraid to dismantle my coil to check it out because it's working so well on gunker juice (caramel coffee ice cream), but I kinda remember a little protruding lip in there that isn't coated and directly connected to the positive pin. So try raising your coil just a hair, so that it's not touching - maybe like 0.5mm. If you snug up your legs when you screw them down, it should stay put. I've been double-checking this after I pulse and before I wick. If you raise it up way above the deck, you'd lose flavor and get harsh hits, but this tiny bit shouldn't affect it much. If it still scoots down on you, you could reverse the direction of your legs (coming from under instead of over) and just give the coil a slight push down to where it needs to be before you tighten them up.

I do that all the time, lol!

Well, my other Hana clone won't fire now *sigh*. And I'm not putting Chuckie on a mech. So he is sitting for now til I get those mods rebuilt. Just ordered my new switches and fdv 510s. I'm completely rebuilding both mods with DNA30s, new wiring and quality components.

......
.

You are not the lone ranger. :)

I think I nailed the wicking issue with my Satin #2 aka KingTut. Talk about consuming juice! I thought my KFs slurped but this puppy is beyond the pail. Of course, so is the flavor.
