make sure the hole isn't too tight or it may pinch off juice flow too but yeah, an air leak is probably more likely. with an air leak the bottle will still compress like it's squonking but not feed unless you really squonk hard, if it's pinched off then the bottle will feel hard to squonk and not compress like you're trying to squonk a bottle with a sealed cap

Hmmm, you've got air escaping...what you need to do is grab a pointy sharp knife and spin it round and round and "drill" a round hole...stop drilling when you can just barely get the tube in...it needs to be a tight fit...but not so tight you collapse the tube.

You are a genius! It worked! Yay! It's working well now too I might add. It's going up in the well but also draining excess back the other way.

Hmmm... Take the bottle and tube out. Fill it up with water, dry the threads and the inside of the cap and give it some test squonks outside the mod. It should shoot up out of the tube without the resistance of the connection. Is it doing that, or dribbling? Is it leaking where the tube meets the cap? Is it leaking under the cap?

My 6ml bottles from Japan arrived today. One in the original mini, one in the mini 2.1 - awesome! I broke out the dremel to drill the holes in the topcaps, since I wasn't getting a big enough hole from the other tools. I did realize that I glued both my tubes on when I did the upgrades, and I couldn't get them off for the life of me, so I guess I stretched the tubes a bit getting those tops on!

6ml bottles arrived yesterday too. I fitted one to an 18490, used it at work all day today, so far so good!

For the record they seem to be thinner material than the standard Reo bottle, and a hair more difficult to fit to the mod, due to the smaller cap I think, less cap to grab hold of. These are only very minor points, and it seems to be working fine, thanks Rathie for posting this bottle!

So the verdict seems to be in on these bento bottles, and they rock. I know I found that link for the 100 pack earlier, and I believe higher quantities got a greater discount... I wonder if perhaps these will ever be stocked at reomods? ( I'm just impatient, and I know coming from Rob they'd take like 2 days ha)

I still haven't decided about mine. The one in og mini leaks from under the cap. But the bottle is a bit squashed in there, and that may be why. The problem with the ones I have is that there is a little round protuberance under the cap that presumably seals the bottle when it's closed. To get the tube in you have to cut into this just a little, and this probably breaks the seal. This only may be in the ones I have, though.

Do you have any o rings that would fit in the cap?
