Still have not modded any of my square 6ml bottles for the Mini... but it's not high on the list to do with all the mixed reviews that turned up later in this thread. Plus the ones I bought have a hard plastic cap with a sealing "nipple" inside that looks like it will have to be removed due to its diameter. To do them right means going over to storage to look for my drill index sets/hand drill or drag out the drill press, not something I'm interested in doing until it cools off here this fall, and maybe going out to find o-rings that fit. IOW, the factory 3ml bottles are looking a whole bunch better to me, the squares not worth the trouble.

Actually, you don't have to remove the hard plastic bit. If you drill it just right, it goes right through the middle! And I just used drip tip o rings (Fasttech) around the neck of my 6ml bottles!

That's exactly what I did, AmandaD. And I don't drill, so I put a hole right in the center by poking a starter hole with a hot needle and then reaming it out to the right size with the straight blade of scissors. Perfect fit and easy as pie.

Hmm... I gots some 6 ml's for my Minis. I have the same kind of caps with the center "inverted nipple" inset. I would actually prefer that stay in place - I think - but that doesn't look possible. (Maybe in my case - see below.) The other thing I noticed right away on mine is that all the bottles have 'flash' on the top opening from the injection molding - looks like that will need to be trimmed off in order to get a good seal.

And not all mini "Leisure & Party" bottles are created equal. Out of my 8 pack three of them I have written off right away because the walls of those bottles are noticeably thinner than the rest. They tend to buckle on the seams when squeezed.

I have a Mini that has the older, smaller diameter tubing in it. Anyone know what drill bit size I'm shooting for with the smaller tubing?

If you have & older reo you will need a 7/64" drill bit

Good to see a few have been using the 9ml bottles w/o o-rings. Both bottles I had from my Vmod needed an o-ring. The new ones leaked just the slightest bit of air w/o but not as much as the old bottles. They were like I never even put a cap on them they leaked so much...

I don't think the Vapage bottles are any good .... even when I've used them in the vmod itself, they tend to distort/warp/break down to the point where after a rather short period of time (a few months) they start leaking and/or split. I just don't think they are as sturdy as the ones Rob puts in REOs....JMHO

You're correct on the quality of the bottle compared with the standard that Rob uses, but the 9ml bottles don't need to squonked as hard and so far are holding up very well. The only thing I don't care for are they are a little harder to remove and replace as well as filling them. I never had a bottle failure in the Vmod when I used it and still have both bottles that came with it. They are over 2yrs old now and still work good. That's mor than I can say for the Vmod!!!

Just wanted to clarify myself was all I was doing. I think I have only heard of maybe two instances where the 6ml have failed, but it seems to be a stand up bottle in the 6ml version. Lots of folks using them successfully...

Are you talking about the "NEW BENTO LUNCH BOX Accessory - SAUCE BOTTLE 8PC Made in Japan" on eBay or a different 6 ml bottle?

Thanks Pennysmalls for the bottles, here's my pics. I just installed the 9ml bottles and started by using a 1/16 bit by hand and went up to a 3/16 bit. Didn't even have to use a drill. Let's see how they work. I like them but I shouldn't have drilled all the bottles, just 1 so I could recap and switch of to different flavors...

How are you liking them HB? I felt like I was going to poke right through them.
