Morning bump for build/wicking pictures. I've got the juice control all the way open, I can get a few good hits and then it's dry. Is this user error, chain vaping this style tank? I also tend to take long, steady pulls.

I was going to wick mine today. I'll take a couple of pics when I do.

I don't have an issues with mine keeping up for my style, but I don't know that I necessarily chain vape. Maybe a couple of 2-4 second MTL draws, 3 at the very most before setting it down. Also worthy of noting: I vape 50/50's. The liquid channels seem fairly small on the KS, so maybe thicker liquids could cause issues.

I use straight lung inhale, which REALLY sucks when you get a dry hit because you can't spit it out, good lord it hurts. I'm using 70℅ VG.
Looking forward to your pics.

Just finished re-wicking......

Coil is 28ga Nickel and I believe the diameter I used was 2.4mm, 9 wraps. Wick is CVS organic cotton ball.

I cut the tails so they will be long enough to touch the bottom of the deck. A nice reserve in the wick and it soaks up any condensation on the bottom.

Tuck the tails down and position them so they just .... up against the opening at the top of the liquid channel.

A picture of both wick tails in place....

After that I juice them up and assemble the tank. I'm not really sure it even makes a real difference with this one, but I open up the juice control until it's over the top of the tank about 1/8" and don't really mess with it again. It doesn't seem to flood when I fill it with the juice control open.

A sweet fit on the IStick TC40. :)

Nice pics @VaPreis, I don't want to post mine now from the old HTC...

Here is that 28g 6 wrap 3mm ID lightly twisted coil @SUPER K. I don't think I'd run it as a regular coil but it does give great flavor and good vapor production with this Pralines & Cream MaxVG juice I put in it.

Just like VaPreis, I cut the Japanese Cotton so it just reaches the deck and leaves a shoulder at the juice channel.

Ready to Rock and Roll! :w00t:

@VaPreis How do you get that much cotton in a NI200 28g coil? The wire is so soft I'd have that coil all pulled crooked by the time I was done. ;) I did put a 2 strand twisted 30g Ni200 coil in the KFV4 and it's a little stiffer to pull the wick through. I might try it in the KS.

I need to get some Ti wire in 28g & 26g.

I've got the black and its perfect on the TC40W. Those pictures are worth 1000 words to me, thank you! I've been doing it all wrong. I watched two videos on this tank. One reviewer wicked similar to yours and the other used the exterior channels with the wick sliced lengthways to fit the little groves. I tried a method similar to yours but cut them short, didn't work. The exterior method has only worked marginally, but it could be because I have t two snake tufts right behind the little cutouts.
