I received my SS Tobeco KS rta from Kanvapes today, and I'm very pleased with it. Very nice build quality. I put a 2.4mm 27ga spaced coil in it, and I winged it on the wicking. So far, so good. No leaks (yet) although I've found I've had to open the juice control farther then I expected. I'll probably go a little lighter on the wicking on the next go round.

Great flavor from it. I like the draw on it. It's very smooth and strangely, I like the sound of the draw. Not a lung hitters tank, but it has a very comfortable draw for a MTL vaper without being silly tight like a Kayfun. I have the air screw backed out all the way.

Using mine on a silver iStick 50, and it's a nice looking combo.

A quick question guys...
I am picking up the recommended Taifun GS II from FT. I only have a limited amount of funds left so I am trying to decide between the KS, a Rose V2-S or Aqua 2 as my other tank. I already have (2) Rose V2 and just love them, a Silverplay which seems similar to the Aqua 2 orchid type build and nothing like the KS RTA at all.

Too many choices, any opinions on the KS vs the Rose V2-S or Aqua 2?
Does the KS fit on a Sigelei Mini 30W, KBox or IPV2s nicely?

Much Thanks!

I definitely recommend an Aqua v2 if you don't have one. But, I don't have this KS atty to compare it to.

I just got mine yesterday. I set it up the same as in Todds review and it is working well. I have it on a Sig mini 30w and it fits perfect. Just slightly smaller than the Sig Mini in length and the same in width. I don't sub-ohm so have it set up at 1.2ohms using 28ga. Don't need to open the juice control very much with this set up so do not have the issue that Todd had with the juice control sticking out. I also do not have his issue with it being noisy. This is going to be my go-to setup for out and about. Really pleased with it so far.

Rose is a great atty, I have yet to grab a 2S, mainly because I already have 3 Rose V2, and two Stumpy kits, So I'll gain a little capacity, and nothing else. It has not been enough to twist my arm into a purchase. Aqua II is a good atomizer, I use the couple I have regularly, Tobeco makes a good copy of it, so that wouldn't be a bad choice. KS is definitely a worthwhile atomizer to own it runs quite well, nice flavor, large capacity, solid performer. I know you said you don't have alot to spend, but you know Kanvape also has the Tobeco Aqua for $17.95 in the clearance section.

Do you like the idea of native dual coils? then maybe Aqua is a better choice. I know you have a Big German, Vape is similar to the Aqua 2, but more airflow. And of course much smaller, If that appeals to you. If the capacity, and profile is appealing on the KS get one. I'm not a huge fan of dual coils in tanks, so for me if I had to make a choice of only one it would be the KS.

If it were me I'd get on Kanvape's mailing list, wait for them to put the clearance section back on 35% off which they probably will be doing again in the near future, when they do grab it for $10.95. In the mean time grab the KS for "20OFFEVERYTHING" which knocks it down to $16.00, or if budget allows $17.95, and $19.95 for both, use the mentioned code, brings it to $30 and change, not sure about the shipping though, kind of the only part which might mess it up. You could also hit them up, and see if the offer a shipping discount if you buy both, maybe another couple or so dollars off.

I was really considering getting one of these but it's just a touch too long for my 40w istick. Would have been perfect :)

A touch to long?

I just hate you two... You guys are my crack dealers, now you know I just have to get the Aqua 2... :-x

In all seriousness there is much luv and respect for both your opinions! I have done some reshuffling of products in the cart on FT and the Rose V2-S can wait since I already have two regulars. The Aqua 2 from Kanvape is cheaper than the unknown one on FT (too bad they still didn't sell the OTM), and the KS would have been coming from FC, which means a 3-4 week wait since we only have NL post as an option in Canada. The shipping from Kanvape will cost me a few bucks but I'll have it in 2 weeks. I am not going to wait for the clearance sale, shinyitis doesn't know how to wait.

The Black KS is just as good as the SS one yes? I really like the looks of the Black one.

@ccwaters is this the correct GS II version, I want to be sure it is the Shenray. If you think there is a better version then feel free to post a link. I was pondering the 22mm version but I think the smaller one will be better.
$17.51 GS II Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (3ml) - stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Many thanks to all who replied, and soon, another wait will begin. Damn I hate waiting on Vapemail.

I am not a big fan of the Aqua V2. I always loved the look, feel, and design of it, but flavor-wise, it never lived up to it's hype for me, and I've since shelved it. I have other tanks that are far better in the flavor department. The KS is a good example of one. ;) I never liked building the Aqua V2 either. The angled post holes make it awkward to mount the coils, and the wicking is more finicky then it's predecessor.

I feel as though I'm it's only cheerleader, but if you are interested in that style of tank, take a look at the EHPro Epoch D1. Similar airflow to the Aqua V2, top filling, liquid control, and the coils/wicks can be accessed without draining the tank. It is my all-time-favorite in the flavor department, and IMO, much better then the Aqua V2.

Thanks for your excellent input on the Aqua 2, the D1 looks great but it's $30USD + Shipping and I need to maximize my tank choices to satisfy the call of shinyitis.

I have a Silverplay and have used a Goblin for a while so the wicking on the Aqua shouldn't be too bad for me, famous last words... I saw a few pictures on FT about building the Aqua 2 in single coil mode with a silicone o-ring to block the other juice channels. The Dripper mode looks very interesting as well, I don't know how well it works but that's what playing with a new RTA is all about.
