OP, with all those 18650 mods in your avatar, why not just carry a spare battery or two? I was anti that idea for a while, but it's not so bad.

I've decided on the Groove. Groove/MVP should last me even with dry burning a coil every day, but I hate worrying about battery running out, so I'm going with the higher mAh Groove. I said it didn't matter much, but the ohm checker will be nice especially if I try more wraps of thinner wire for more surface area and vapor production. Will also be building coils for others, so no need to break out my big fancy multimeter. I think I'll dislike the fire button location.


I'm getting one Groove for me, two for two others and an MVP for someone else, so now I'm gonna see which vendor will give me the best discount/freebees if I buy all 4 from them.

I bought five plastic Grooves (one for me, and four for new vapers). There's only one left for $47, quite less than any other vendor I found SS or plastic. This vendor almost never offers coupon codes because their prices are so low. After I think 5 orders, you get %5 off all orders thereafter.

I've seen the SS for like $75 and only difference is the metal. This one's a very hard plastic though.
The seam that connects the two pieces might be the weakest link in either metal or plastic anyway. I'm not concerened about it breaking, and not searching out a metal cell phone etc, but luckily I don't drop things often and hope the 4 others I got these for don't either.
