springs inside the GGTS are steel Jl. I think I know why this is happening to you. It happens to me too yesterday for first time in my life. It was the battery. I stretched it too much with the telescope. I released the preassure and it was ok
so far so good on the new springs ive installed havent heated up since
i think the steel springs oxidize real fast and can cause weak connections that would heat up the button or maybe its just on my end not 100% but its fix now
