So I just read the whole thread about using SS Wire Rope in top coil (vertical wick) Genesis style rba's and it got me to thinking if something like that would work in a bottom coil (horizontal wick) rba such as the Taifun. As fast as the rope can wick vertically I am wondering if it would over wick horizontally or of maybe the opposite would be true since the angle of contact would now be 90degrees different.
Has anyone tried it? How did it work?
