SS wire. Where is the best place to get it?

I own and still sometimes use a Coilmaster jig, but my goto tool for winding simple coils is this. It's easy and accurate and works for compressed and spaced coils. It stays in the snap top box that contains everything I need to coil and wick an atomizer.

    I personally tasted and experienced a massive difference between the Chinese brand and US brand SS wires. The Chinese (UD) is dirty right off the bat, lots of machine oil, and it produces almost no flavor. (Temco US brand) also have a slightly oily wire, and you need to clean that .... before using it!, but it produces much better flavor. It's also much more stable when used in temp control mode.

    They are definally using different chemistries to produce these wires.
    UD kanthal however is excellent.
