I built a coil for my setup (therion 75c bf and pulse 22) with the geekvape jugernaunt coil rewraped in a clockwise direction to fit my rda.It reads at .39 ohms when cold but after the first puff it goes up to .44 and then back down to .39 if I don’t hit it for a minute. Is there any way to prevent this?its screwed in tight to the rda but I can’t seem to get it to stay still. Also ,it seems that juice keeps leaking out between my rda and the 510 plate on top of my mod.The juice is seeping into the battery compartment from this.Could it damage my mod or is there a way to stop this?

Hi and welcome to the board. To answer you, no there is no way to stop the coil resistance from changing with temperature. All metals are, by nature, conductive of electricity, and all metals vary this conductivity inversely with temperature; meaning the hotter it gets the less conductive it is. This is physics and can't be changed. It's not a problem, even if it annoys you. In fact, that's how the TC in TC mods work: it measures the resistance of the coil, compares it against the resistance measured at room temp, and uses an algorithm to determine the coil temp. I don't have a Therion-- or not yet, anyway-- but it sounds to me like you're missing an o-ring somewhere. Most BF mods leak a bit, but usually not a huge amount. It is possible your mod can be damaged by a juice leak. E-juice is non conductive, so it isn't going to short out, but it can make the buttons sticky or invade a switch or something.

I agree with the above for sure but honestly, that might just be about right. 5/100's of an ohm sounds like a little bit large of a deviation for the first puff, but with the coil you have in there it may just be accurate. The coil will gain resistance as it heats up and then loose it again as it cools down, also as mentioned above. The DNA is pretty good about keeping up real time on the display. I don't think you really have a problem.

I’m not sure where an oring would go,on the 510 pin maybe?I don’t see anything out of the ordinary and it doesn’t leak out on other mods either so I’m at a loss

Nor I, unfortunately. I don't have one. But that Therion is supposed to be quality gear. It's new, right? Take it back to the shop and see what they say.

Sounds normal,,,,,,
Its still vaping and all is good'''''
from .39 to .44 is a fraction,,,,,,
Now .39 to 2.5 and you got an issue......,.

Make sure the hose from the bottle is pushed securly onto it's nozzle.

I occasionally get a little juice between the two when I used the Pulse 24, not so much on the Drop but it happens. I usually screw down the RDA and give it a light twist to seat it. Not too tight or you run the risk of stripping. Just till it stops and just a fly's .... hair more.

I figured it out.For whatever reason my pulse 22 leaks on this mod only.Tried it on another squonk,no leaks there. So I bought a pulse 24 and tried it on my therion ,been using it all day and no leaks !
