SSGGTS - What kind of SS?

I have been told ther are different kinds of stainless steel, some of which are unsafe. I know Imeo takes good care of our health and is extremely careful but does anyone know what kind so SS is used in the SSGGTS?

There is no unhealthy SS Ros. By the way, I use 303 SS

Thanks for that? I am not at all technical but someone has been telling me there is lead in some kinds of SS and that is something I do not want to vape. I was positive this was not the case with GGTS - you even provide us with safe wick, but there is no harm in asking. thanks again.

I think I know were this is coming from. Another supplier on this board had a video lately talking about how he uses only 316 surgical stainless steel because other stainless is unsafe. He implies that other stainless contains lead and should not be used.

I found this to be an odd statement because we cook out of stainless steel pots every day that are not 316. We eat with forks and spoons every day that are not 316. So I started to do some research.

303 does not contain lead. 303 is food safe. Furthermore stainless steel is non reactive meaning it doesn't break down and release any toxins.

There is a reason Imeo doesn't make an Odysseus out of brass even though it would look great . Brass is reactive and oxidizes potentially releasing all kind of nasty stuff that you don't want to inhale.

if things were like this then SS would release nickel and chromium and all its ingredients. SS is a very stable alloy.

I would never use something harmful because I vape the same devices as you do.

I could use 316 steel, I could use gold or platina, I could use any metal. But we use what is needed and we dont use something just to make impressions. We have to keep cost in normal levels.

I am sure that the guy that said that makes a simple tube with 2 caps and he sells it expensive without a reason. By the way, who is he Ros?
