I have heard a lot about these new coils. Well I know the top box nano platinum has a SS setting for those coils. Well I have the top box nano 60W, I had heard that I can use the coil on my TC No setting.... is that true? They are SSOCC with the pink ring and they are .5
I have just the Ni .15, which I want a higher sub ohm but I don't think Ni for top box nano 60W sell any other except the .15 but like I said someone said I can get the pink ring SSOCC and just put Ni setting on. So please some one help me out with this... Thanks so much

Hi @Maria S. It's a bit "misleading" when Kanger uses "SSOCC" as its model number.... (The SSOCC really just means Stainless Steel housing)

There are four basic types of SSOCCs

Red insulator - normal Nichrome - 0.15, 0.5, 1.2 and 1.5Ω resistances. "NC" is stamped on the side of the coil housing
Black insulator - Clapton coil - 0.5Ω
Blue insulator - Ni200 coil - 0.15Ω
Pink insulator - SS316L coil - 0.5Ω. "SS" is stamped on the side of the housing.

my personal experience is that SS (stainless steel) wire is a much cleaner vape, flavor wise - and those can actually be used in TC (SS) mode or in power mode
Where can I get them from? I can't find them anywhere? Top box nano 60W doesn't have SS setting but someone said I can still use in the Ni setting. Which I wouldn't try that unless I know for sure.

Can I use the SS316L on my topbox nano 60w in TC - Ni mode, there isn't a SS mode on the 60w nano only the platinum.

hrm - checked several of my go-to places and not seeing them - they list the nichrome .5ohms, but no ss... the nichrome .5ohm coil would also be a good option, but only usable in power mode, not TC

and i don't know that i would recommend using a ss coil in Ni TC setting - if it is a mod that allows you to adjust the TCR, that is an option, but topbox nano won't do that, I believe...

Hai DC! Yeah, I don't think the SS316L coils are in stock yet - not anywhere I've found either.
