Got a Vamo V3 in October and ran the stacked no blame grey IRC 18350 batteries in it since day 2.
Bought 4 Efest (GASP)IMR 18350 batteries for spares.
Got a Vmax in November and stacked the grey no blame IRC 18350 batteries in it since day 1. You have to use them stacked in it.
Got a Kmax in December and have used stacked 18350 in it since day 1.

Here it is almost March and the problem arises.
NONE of my batteries when used in stacked configuration have exploded or gone into thermal runaway. Have I been cheated out of this experiance? I have never used the venting feature on all my devices. I feel cheated that I payed for this feature and haven't gotten to use it yet.
Should I return all my batteries and demand they sell me the exploding batteries I always read about?
Was I at fault because I purchased a very good inteligent charger?
Was I at fault because I have used them in match pairs since day one?
Am I at fault because I never mixed IRC and IMR batteries in the same device?
Maybe it's my fault because I don't mix differant milamp batteries in the devices?
Is it the devices at fault because the built in low voltage circuit worked to shut the device down correctly?
Maybe the charger is at fault because it monitors each charge station and shut offs correctly.

My first attempt at satire.
Have a great day everyone.

EDIT: It must be my fault because I monitor my batteries when charging and take them off as soon as the charge cycle is complete.

Having had a battery (not even stacked) explode in one of my mechanical mods I failed to find any humor in this post. Exploding batteries are no laughing matter IMHO.

I'll agree wholeheartedly with Stash's comment above. The minimal benefits one might get from stacking batteries is not worth the potential risks involved. A single 18650 is always going to be safer than two smaller batteries.

Using "no name" generic ICR batteries is pushing your luck even further. Batteries are not all created equal when they are made in battery manufacturing plants. They go through an inspection process and the lesser quality ones get weeded out. Do you know that generic batteries all come from China? Some are the REJECTS of the better battery manufacturers in Japan. The others are USED batteries harvested from old laptop computers, re-wrapped and sold as new. Are these really the batteries you want to put up to your mouth numerous times a day?

Vape safe my friend. :vapor:
