So im a new builder i have a bonza rda and i bin useing 0.45 fused claptons
dual and they come out as 0.30 so no problem

so i bought 2 picks of stapeled staggered 0.2 coils and when i was takeing
the heat spots out of them my snowwolf vfeng start to get heavy hot
and i notised the ohm was 0.08 So
whats the issue what am i doing wrong and cant my mod handle it or ?
and why it go so low as in 0.08 ?

A build coming in at 0.08 ohms is asking an awful lot from your mod (nevermind forget it on an unregulated mech). One of the problems of buying pre-made wire is that there can and will be variation from coil to coil. Some is from how you mount it, leg length, and some is a function of assembly. Fancy coils may be hand made and have some variation from build techniques or machine wrapped and have poor QC.

I would suggest some serious consideration about the safety of that build and take another approach. If it were me I'd never vape that build even if I thoight I could get away with it.

Side note. If you like builds that come in at low resistance, make sure you're batteries are up to the demand. A crappy rewrap is not going to give you 30-40A and 3,000 mAh. It's simply not a possibility with 18650 batteries, so if the ones you're using are some off brand make, I'd replace them like now. Not after they fail and cause damage.

Running dual coils makes your total resistance half the resistance of the single coil. You're not doing it wrong, it just is what it is. Some mods can handle that, some can't, but it's really unnecessary to go that low. If the legs are long enough, try adding a wrap on each end. Should get you up over .1 ohm.

0.45 coils in dual coming up to 0.30 is very wrong. Something wrong with that.

As mentioned already: 0.20 in dual coming up to 0.08 is well within margin of error. When building that low small things like leg length, screw tightness, and rounding can vary it. You're more or less 0.01 off per coil, which is nothing.

I would save your stapled claptons for a single coil build.

its pre build fused claptons i have tryed 3x2 and all 3 times the ohm came out on my mod 0.30
They're off on their listing then, because .45 ohms should come out to roughly .22 ohms in a dual setup. To get .3 you need two .6 ohm coils.

i got 10 coils in a box and tried 3 x 2 and all of them come at 0.30 on my snowwolf vfeng
what could i be doing wrong ? you have any idie ?

Yes, dual coils will halve your resistance. I don't remember why (and it does seem sort of counterintuitive, at first) but I bet someone else can explain it. If this is your first dual build with those coils it's well within the margin of error.

Your mod is likely getting hot due to the combination of such low resistance coupled with a tank that has a "ton" of metal in it, needing to be heated up. Exotic coils can cause this problem, as they typically have more "mass" in the wire to heat up.

Either single coil build or try two slightly higher resistance but NON exotic coils. You probably want higher resistance than 0.08 anyway, and your mod and batteries may not be able to handle that resistance, especially if also needing to heat up a ton of mass. You are overstressing your equipment that way, so don't build that way. Exotic wires can be great for flavor but the premium you pay will be more stress on the batteries to heat up the build (at any resistance) but it typically becomes a LARGER problem if you are asking the mod and batteries to deliver more than they can handle given your build and etc.

Best of luck,

Anna

Imagine a line of people in the supermarket and only a single register. That's your single coil, each customer has to go through that line.
Now open a second register and the same line will clear twice as fast since now 2 people at once can be served.
That's your double coil.

You're halving the "resistance" of your checkout area to customers by opening a second register ;)

UNLESS...

Some knucklehead ignores the "10 items or less" rule in the express lane. That could cause a hotspot.

Ignore Eskie, he doesn't know what he talking about. I once hit .005 on a mech mod with 50mg nic before everything went black and I had a 15 minute chat with Nostradamus about his writing (which he meant as comic satire dialog for a cartoon strip he was working on but he could never find the right artist to work with for his characters. He thinks it's hysterical everyone thinks he was serious. Funny guy - claims to have invented "pull my finger").
