So I got the Stardust and have been using it for about 4 or so days now. I really like the concept and i like that i can lay it down (unlike my other clearomizers that will flood if i lie them down) but i dont like that the draw seems super tight and that it tastes burnt after about 1 or 2 drags. I am using it on a lavatube and have an adapter (that i cant find at the moment) but it can screw right on the lavatube without the adapter too. I am using Ms. T's juice through it (so higher on the VG side). The burning taste is less if i stay under 3.7 volts.

Question is, is there any way to make the draw less tight? Make the thing wick better? Thanks! (oh and i have watched a couple of rewicking videos but havent been brave enough to do that kind of thing yet.)

With a small needle-nose pliers, I pulled the center post out ever so slightly. The draw was greatly improved.

As for the wicking, I haven't used anything but 70/30 liquid in the stardusts and they wick fine, so I'm not much help there. :)

I've found that anything above 4.2 will produce a burnt taste, with either SR or LR. I've been vaping my eGo dry three times a day with these cartos, they work so well on it.

The Stardust will not fit on a Lavatube without an adapter, 510-510, or 510-Ego, maybe others I don't know about,
The air gets in through the 4 nicks in the connector skirt ie the other end from the tip, then through the slots in the positive contact. Unscrewing slightly, while keeping electrical contact may help the draw. Is it still tight when not attached to a PV?
The little wicks, touching the sides of the sleeve must be wet and kept wet, tilt as needed.
I have standard resistance, works well on ordinary Ego, and OK at up to 4.5v on the LT.
Keep on trying!

For the burnt flavor. If your using a dessert (most likely since it's Ms. T's) or a fruit flavor. Then they won't do so well at higher voltages. You can tip it over like a regular CE2 and that should get it to wick a bit better (thus, feeding the coil).

Also, there is always the option of rebuilding it and making the wick a bit longer. That's what I've done to mine and it's really not that hard IMO. Plus, I can change the ohms whenever I want which is a major plus.

I was wondering if you were covering up the stardust vent holes with the lavatube top. I use an adapter and have gone through several of these without a problem. It would be a tight fit without the adapter and I think maybe a bit too tight. The air vents are on the bottom and with a tight fit on the lavatube I think the lip on the lavatube top might be sealing off the vent holes not allowing air through. Just an idea. By pulling the pins a little it might not have to screw down so tight and get a little air but I think an adapter might solve the draw problems. Hope so!

I find that the draw seems harder to me as well, and I am using it on an eGo batt. But, and that is a big ole but, I find that the insane amount of vapor makes up for the slightly harder draw. I can't say anything bad about them so far. I have had no funky taste since the first 1/2 tank on one of them.
