I ended up ordering a VV mini and another stardust from gotvapes.

i think part of the issue i am having is the "stardusts" i've ordered from others may have been knockoffs of the vision

im using a mini vivi nova and i regret buying it. the heads don't seem to last long at all for me. the head im using right now i put it in not even 12 hours ago and the flavor is already gone and im getting a dry hit. im REALLY starting to miss my vision ego/ stardust right now. that thing worked like a champ

Curious. do you mean a whole wick? Or a single strand? Wouldn't pulling a whole wick out ruin the head?

Hi Ray,
I would go buy some 100% cotton yarn, boil some of it for a couple minutes and let dry. This might work better for you as a "flavor wick", and you wouldn't risk messing up a new head. I did this for awhile on my Kanger T2 and it did no harm....40 year exsmoker can't really say it made any big improvement? You just need to remove/discard the cotton when you dry burn the coil.

I don't have TOO many issues with the Vivi Nova really, but slight tweaks can make big improvements, so I don't mind trying this or that. Your way is a little less risky.

I'm not as fan....I tried the earlier versions in 2009 that leaked like a sieve and then tried the ViVi Nova recently....muted my juice so much it tasted like something else entirely.

I have s Vivi Nova 2.5 with 2.8ohm head which is well over a week old with eliquid changes daily, i have vapor station tobacco juices running through it daily my favourite being Frisco 16mg it tastes great. Their new juice Dover is especially good. I have Halo Tribeca 12mg which i love but has not tasted to its full potential in the Vivi Nova. This was on an eGo c 1100mah. So i now have a Zmax V1 with the Nova, iam getting perfect taste/TH/vapor from this setup low volts 3.0-3.7 very nice indeed with Frisco. Yet to try Tribeca in the Nova with Zmax.

Now if i put a Redux with Tribeca onto the Zmax at the even as low as 3.0 volts(min) it tastes rubbish its a real nasty taste the head is 2.3ohm. i have a CE4 clearo from Apollo cigs with Tribeca same volts(i now know Tribeca must be vaped low voltage) the results are much better, a vast improvement. The CE4 clearo is a few days in use before i tested today and the Redux is new. Can i expect the Redux to improve over time? soaking so to speak?

edit : tried Tribeca in the Nova with 3.0 volts.....Hmm i think i have become muted to the taste since i first tried it on a eGo C tank setup 3 weeks ago or the juice is going off? does this happen?
