Correct me if I am wrong people but would that be:

50ml of 36mg nic
40ml PG
10ml VG

Not counting flavoring and sweetener?

Then with say 10% sweetener and say 5% flavoring would be:

50ml of 36 nic juice
34ml of PG
8.5ml of VG
15ml of sweetener
5ml of flavoring

Am I getting this right?

My main problem is the ready-made recipe you can find here and there;

Then there is the "drops" mention;drops from what, the dropper bottles, pipettes, what?

I end up checking ml and % and make guesstimates.

the way that i deal with those recipes are use the drops as ratios.

i will mix up the flavoring portion first...if the recipe calls for

10 drops flavor X
5 drops flavor Y
5 drops flavor Z

i would mix up a 2ML batch of just flavoring like this:
1ml flavor X
0.5 ml flavor Y
0.5 ml flavor Z
then i shake the @#$%^# out of the bottle then put it in a glass of hot water until the water is room temp (~30mins), dry off the bottle, and label it.

I have found i like most of my juice with 10-20% flavor, so i go with 4 ML 75/25 PG (3ml)/VG(1ml) mix 0 nic and add 1ml of the flavor mixed above, shake, heat/steep, and test.... add more of the premixed flavor as required.......

and most importantly, make notes of what you have done so successes can be repeated and repeat failures avoided.

this is what works for me, but as you gain experience, you will find a method that works for you!:2cool:

Drops can be a PITA, just that sometimes it's convenient for the person coming up with the mix. I've used exactly one TPA dropper since I first started DIY, use it just for tobacco absolute diluted. I haven't bothered to check it against my high accuracy graduated cylinder, though I'll likely get around to it sooner or later.
