so i have successfully built several on RDA units. yesterday i bought my wife a kanger mini top tank and myself an aromamizer. im trying to make my own coils on the RTA sections. i have been able to make coils successfully, but so far everything i have made has leaked. im also having various airflow problems. i believe my problem is not making coils but but how i am putting the cotton. can you guys tell me what i am doing wrong. i need to master this. thanks

Wicking is definitely the most likely cause of your leaking issue. You need to make sure that the juice holes are completely covered. Are you fluffing out the wick tails before tucking them in? Then, after you tuck the wick tails in, use a small tool (thin screwdriver, one side of a pointed-edge tweezer, or something similar) and gently push the cotton up against the inside edge of the juice holes.
Also, if you can post a picture of the build(s) that are leaking, it would be very helpful in determining exactly what you are doing wrong.
The Aromamizers are bad about leaking on their sides. It wasn't untill I started using rayon that I didn't need to pack the deck with wick to prevent that.
Due to the lack of bottom airflow, it's very easy for the wick and coil to block the already minimal airflow.

Youtube is your best friend when learning how to wick an RTA. There are many good video tutorials out there.
