oddly when i read your post i started hearing the oscar meyer song in my head..."my bologna has a first name..."

but lol no, he said "is that a provari?"

Sadly most people i meet are used to cig a likes and think my procari is "something else" so i am constantly saying no I'm not doing _____ this is an e cig." good conversation starter for when i meet attractive women though :)

I was thinking John Joesph Jinglhimer Schmidt, his name is my name too.
It's encouraging to hear more doctors being tolerant and knowledgeable about vaping. It's so frustrating that doctors will still recommend you use gum (disgusting and doesn't work well) when vaping is such a better alternative. It would be so great for our approval if more doctors saw the opportunity that vaping has to reduce harm.

Some of the local bars have begun to disallow vaping. but only 1 or two. but i do not support them with my money anymore. I just go to places that allow vaping or do not care.

and just to get you back for getting that song in my head here is one right back at you....

this old man, he played one he played knick knack on....

if i stealth vape its when im in a restroom or on an aisle by myself. i dont want to offend someone if im doing it where i shouldnt be anyway. i think it defetes the purpose of trying to be accepted if im being confrontational by purposefully vaping where is not allowed. if i do stealtj vape i only do it when i havent been out in a while like during a movie or a long shopping trip.

my hubby will do it just to try to get away with it... and he complains i treat him like a child... its no wonder why.

Ok--I am new at this--will someone please explain the 'art' of stealth vaping?? I can't figure out how no one sees the vapor...

Maybe I am just slow :vapor: but even when I try not to exhale the vapor--there is still quite a bit ????

Don't take as large a puff. Hold the vapor as long as possible before exhaling, and then do it slowly, a little at a time. You can also re-inhale without completely exhaling, if you can get my drift.

I frequently stealth vape at the cinema. I always sit in the back row. I never vape until the lights are out. I don't vape when others are near my seat. I am able to do this very discreetly. Be careful of mods whose LED screen lights up with each puff, those could attract attention in the darkness of a movie theater.

I may take a drag when at the grocery store or Walmart. I'll typically pick an isle that is empty of people, or are at the far end. One puff is all needed to satisfy.

That makes sense--I guess it just take practice. Wasn't sure if you used a different PV so glad I asked!

I usually bring either my Smoktech Gripper or Mini Provari for the cinema. The iTaste MVP is another nice mod to stealth with.

The only place I stealth vape is on an airplane. It's still hit and miss as to whether or not it's allowed. I work over seas, so I don't want to end up on a no fly list for vaping on an airplane. I haven't been to a theater since I started vapinig, but I guess I'd stealth there too. Everywhere else, I vape loud and proud. I've found that for the most part, when you tell people that vaping has helped me quit smoking, they see you as a hero and cut you some slack. I also agree that we should stop associating our PVs with cigarettes.

Doctors ... I ask them if they realize that gum has a 7% quit rate compared to the 80% quit rate for people who seriously enter vaping with the goal of quitting. I have yet to hear a doctor display ignorance about the effectiveness of the ecig, but my sample rate is probably not large enough to be significant.

I was told once by my boss (in a joking way) that when someone asks for the time, I tell them how to build a watch. He was probably right.

Stealth vaping is something I do when there's no distraction to keep people from staring. I vape in the doctor's waiting room. Most people are watching Fox News on his waiting room TV, anyway. In a restaurant, I vape discriminately and blow the vape down, but I don't try to hide it. About 2 out of 4 times, one of the wait staff or a patron will stop by the table and ask me about how well my ecig works to stop smoking. They always have a brother in law who needs to quit. I pass out vendor cards and direct them to ECF.

My wife thinks public vaping is just as embarrassing as smoking. If we don't get the public on our side, government will eventually kill it, tax it, or restrict it by making it medical in nature.

Wow, I need to learn this technique. Next trick is to figure out how to be discrete with my devise.

I vape every time I go to the movies. Turn off the LED on your mod or tape it over loosely with electrical tape and blow down your shirt toward the floor. No one even turns around or shows any sign of noticing. I'd make sure that my juice didn't have a strong odor, though. Fruits are good if they have a sweet bouquet. They just think you are eating candy.
