Make sure it's set up right. There's a little post, and a little hole. If those are lined up it should unlock, but if the screw is in too far, or not in enough, it might not make contact. The easiest way to set it up is to back the screw out until it's flush with the rest of the button, hold it closed, then screw it in until your atty fires. After that I usually give it another half turn just to make sure it's making good contact.
I bought a extra don button to try it and that won't unlock.

Can you feel any play in it at all? If you can it might be either the lock washer, the steel bit holding it together on the inside, was pressed on too tight. Or, it could be that the holes for the pin were drilled a bit too deep. Or since it's a brass part it may have oxidized a bit somehow on the inside. If you look around the set screw, can you see a bit of green and/or white gunk? Another possibility may be that some little shaving from the manufacturing process has jammed something up inside. Even if you can't see or feel anything definitely wrong you could first try giving your button a soak in the suggested jewelry cleaner to see if that will help loosen anything in there up. Of course if all else fails send electronicstix a message they probably know better if there's a way to get your button working or will do something to fix or replace it.

Please keep us updated on that! I'm all about add-ons for the GGTS! Can't wait for VV. Been thinking about a PT myself, maybe just getting an extra bottom cap and building one myself. Should be a pretty simple build, just drill a hole in the bottom cap and make an 18350-sized copper dummy battery attached to the bottom. Have to have a spring on top of that to account for variances in the atty post... Crap, now that I think about it I'll just sit and hope that someone with more skill gets off their butts and does it right.
I've been looking for a passthrough for my GG... I wonder if I could make the saber touch passthrough work by some how modding...

Just throwing ideas around for future reference :)

You'd need to machine a button cap assembly for the P18 button to fit the GG or the collector tank, the P18 assembly is just a bit too small, but maybe if you wrap it with duct tape you can shove it on in there and make it fit.

A new GG passthrough sure would be nice. Let us know when you figure it out, will you Silentt?
