Now this is getting interesting. If their claim is correct they are insinuating that they are using the Yihi sx350j board? If so then I may be in for one of these finally although in temp mode I would run Ti vs Ni200.
It's important to note that Yihi makes several TC boards, not just the SX350J. If there is a Yihi chip in there it's probably a version of the SX130H. There's no way there's a SX350J in the SC. I'm skeptical of their claims of having a Yihi chip, to be honest. I've owned mods with the SX130H, SX330 V4S, and the SX350J and all of them worked very well with TC.
I am thinking it's a clone, why would they not mention the Yihi chip model specifically if they have one. I mean Yihi chips are no duds.

Thanks for the tip. Not on FB but contacted them after seeing your post and will get mine replaced too.

"the list are those complained, and will send emails to others, if they don't like old Squonk MOD, then we will send new one."
So it looks like if you're not happy with your first batch mod then you'll get a new one sent out.
In all fairness it's top customer service from Steam Crave.
I've found the one I've got a pain in the ... to use with the cut off time and the fact it eats batteries but in all honesty it still gets used every day so it can't be all that bad.

do we have word on what chip they using, is it Yihi or clone? maybe someone who has ordered one can ask them 
I ordered one a few days ago. After I ordered I got a few emails. One said I need to send order number and some other info affer my PayPal payment was received. Did any of you have to do that?

Check your pp account. I recently had this happen with Hobby Lobby. Paid with pp, or so I thought. Heck, they even shipped the item, and I got it! Then I got an email saying the payment never went through. I thought it was a scam, and deleted it. Then I got a second email. I checked pp, and sure enough, they really hadn't gotten the payment. I don't know why they sent me the item without the payment, but, of course I then paid it. They sent me an invoice on pp.
That's what I can't figure out. They sent a notice they had gotten the PayPal payment. The next email was this one. And it says, send this info after PayPal payment.
I found the customer service email, and sent them an email, with the info. I'm hoping to hear back from them tomorrow.

Just got email from them. It's all good! I thought maybe it was a way to try to make sure kids aren't buying there products. By requesting additional confirmation or something! Lol

Just got my new one in today, and I see it's vastly improved from the original (given, I was a beta tester for it) but with my feedback and original shipment feedback, steam craves outstanding customer service took care of all the complaints. Now it's spring loaded, with better atomizers, better connections, better solder points, and better screen and buttons. I'm still building mine, I'm going to try TC using Ti on it. I know it's not technically supposed to work properly, but I want to give it a shot anyway.
As for the chipset, the board comes from the same manufacturer as YiHi, but is not a YiHi branded chip. It's a chip specifically made for steam crave and this mod. Thus not having a model number. But, I wouldn't call it a "clone". It's a good chip, and is pretty smart. Further testing will prove me right or wrong. I immediately noticed the improvements upon opening the package though. I'm also happy it came with two bottles this time rather than one, just in case, plus I can switch juice at will now. Fairly pleased, I recommend picking one up for the price.
